So does this mean its actually not meant for turning off the bike?
@SVJHonda: Turning off the ignition key would shut down your engine completely, in which case when you switch the ignition key to 'On' mode again, the system once again performs a routine start-up check of the electricals, including the radiator fan in case of R15 (the sound that you hear everytime). Indeed the engine-kill switch is meant for use at traffic signals. You can simply switch it off when you stop at a signal, then button start once you need to go, thereby eliminating the need for start-up check at every signal. This is how I use the kill switch for my other bike too.

Question then. If I have a projector can it be fixed inside our headlamps?
(I know it sounds weird, but want to know)

Some m***s peeled off Yamaha logo sticker on right side of tank and small logo on the back side

Serious suggestion to all:

Pl. do service your bike before you run out of mentioned date / KMS. Guys at showroom rejected my first service and did the 2nd service (I went for servicing on 40th day (some 700 Kms)).They were telling some stupid reasons for that..

and to my experience, pl. don't *service* your bike @ Venkatesha motors, hyd. I asked the guy over there to fix the noise coming from visor (I removed it few days back and failed to reinstall it correctly), that guy just inserted some paper folds in between and delivered the bike, do u belive ?? I had to leave immediately after seeing that... I have no words to ask or shout there...

many foreign bike manuals also say that the kill switch is for emergency use only. why is this ? and why don't the indian bike manuals say so?
