But if the problem were minor and is rectified, it is fine with me.

I was asked to write a letter of satisfaction. I did not want to yet, as I had to leave immediately and no test drive was taken on proper roads. I just wrote a letter saying I am taking the vehicle now. I took it for a test ride and feel that the bike's steering is a lot more free. The mech. guys say that its due to new parts and its bound to get tighter as time progresses. So lets see about that. In the small roads I tried, I did not find weaving. will have to take it for a long fast ride on proper roads today evening and check how it actually feels. Will update that too here and if am not satisfied, I have to talk to them again.
good to hear that bro. (to read that actually).
waiting for your proper test ride report....hope everything will be fine.

Just after my previous post I took the bike back for a ride. And I was totally dis-satisfied. The bike still felt bad if not as bad as before. Instead of weaving it was slowly sliding towards the left side. Took the bike back to the showroom and the owner himself came with me for a testride. Showed him the problem and they worked on the bike again.

This time they just removed the front wheel and fitted it back and the bike's handling was back to its self. The front wheel had a mis-alignment issue. After that I was almost riding with one single hand or without touching the handlebar at varying speeds and for varying distances. The bike absolutely felt stable. Hopefully it stays the same. I will keep this page updated. Lets see!

Hey, can you throw more light in the "front wheel alignment" ?? I know how the rear wheel can be aligned but have no clue about the front one...I too seem to be having an alignment issue and thought it cannot be rectified without a fork-change or rim change! :|

Unrelatedly - 1 thing I noticed about Orion is the large number of R15s there for servicing, much more than what I had seen in the Panache SS. Dont ask what I doing in a SS before I bought the bike though ......
Hi Neil, I had done my first service yesterday at Pacer motors. My friend recommended Pacer Motors at Infantry Road. As of now, i feel its good.

Question1: Is anyone using the Yamalube chain spray here? Heard its available for Rs. 1500 a bottle. Saw it on Srijan's bike. It seems to be very different from the Motul stuff. This makes the chain form a white powdery kind of coating. They say that it does not need degreasing, just the lube is enough.
But how come it does not need a degreaser spray?

Question 2: Has anyone from Hyd seen a tank protector at any of the showrooms? Mine got spoilt (don't ask how)&I need another one.

Alternatively, can someone from Bangalore enquire at Perfect Riders if they have one in stock?

Sarvajit,
Pune Pro-service is using Yamalube since past several months. It way better than Motul & long lasting.

Thanks Sneh,
What about the degreaser? Is it true that we need not spray degreaser if using Yamalube?

Why degreaser? I never used it with Motul. Is it chain cleaner you are talking about?
