300$ even if you buy this you will need a FID to diagnose if things are fine in the bike...

And the Densos..I SO hate them! Maybe the model the manufacture for the 150cc engine of the R15 is not able to take it. Cos, R15's engine is not just any other 150cc, and has to deal with really high RPMs, at increased heat levels. Thus the failing of densos for this purpose. If you notice, all the cars(atleast most o' them) have a LOT lesser running RPM on an average when compared to bikes. So, Denso might be successful in that application,simple
@digislayer

Sorry i couldnt get time to check the spark plug used on my bike.. (stuck with damn work)

I was going through the manual to check the service dates and in the last few pages its mentioned that tha spark plug used is NGK
/CR8E. does this mean that Yamaha is using a different brand instead of what is mentioned.

Cheers,

V

^^^ CR 8 E is the model number for the Spark Plug from NGK. I wanted to check the model number of Denso also... does someone have it?

Is it U 24 ESR-N in Denso? that's what is mentioned for Vixion.

Hey, did anybody recieve any messages from Yamaha that 'you serviced your bike from _______ on 25th... and are you satisfied with the service'?

Because I did, and obviously I said no! Just a few minutes back I recieved a call from the dealer whom I serviced it from and his voice was very oily, asking me what the problem was. I told him about the careless service, and the mechs forget to replace fairing screws for which I had to do round trips to the svc just to get some damn screws back in to stop the noise/vibration. He said bring your bike either today or tomorrow and we'll look at all the points where you felt our service was lacking. He needs to submit a satisfaction form signed by me, to Yamaha or they'll do some more arm twisting. So people who are utterly dissattisfied with service, can actually get things done this way!

Oh, and by the way, is the NGK spark plug CR 8 E an iridium one? Or is the Iridium one called CRX8E? I've done 5.5K kms, so I guess it should be better if I change to the NGK right?
