they were (Hyd) out-of-stock, was looking for gold-plated levers n other stuff. they only had silver pieces left. so all i got from there was gold rim stripes (Rs300).

they say there is no tank protector and back seat crowl from the company, dunno how the hell it is selling in Chennai then!

About apparels, the showroom was selling DSG jackets, which i frankly didnt felt was worth the money. they didnt have any R15 specific apparel as of now. had Yamaha team tees and shirt.

oh yesss...! forgot to mention they had even stocked K&N air filter (Rs2500), asked the guy about its installability (is that a word??), he said wouldn't void the warranty, will give a nice grunt to the exhaust and mileage will drop.

Which model of K&N filter? 2500 's costly na.. Did dey say anything abt the remapping to add on the performance given by K&N ????

I got wrist pain after driving for about 15kms in heavy traffic. Also I'm not comfortable with gear and break (rear) levers (height: 176cms). May be I should get used to it slowly. It accelerates sharply and handling is simply superb. I had to keep looking at speedo to make sure I'm not going beyond 60 km/h (running period), fabulous .

But in slow speeds, Zma wins over R15! As a Zma rider, I was able to feel that difference. You've to rev R15 harder to keep it moving .

I'll keep posting my experiences with my new partner ( .. period!)

it's just a matter a good ridin postion. den d wrist pain'll go.. lower the gear shift a bit n dat'll solve d probs with gear lever.. Nothing can be really done for the rear lever..

Hi buddy:

Thanks for the lovable info. Do these showroom guys know how to lower the gear shift or any chance that I can do it myself ?

Is that a slight modification or some kind of cutting/welding involved in the process ?

Rear brake lever is manageable!

cant recall the model man.. mentioned in my post wat all he cud comment on the filter. he was the sales guy, so probably knew less of technicalities.

@Priyatam.. dude can you provide me with the address for Venkatesha Motors, might be visiting Hyd next month, so can get hold of it it Mumbai still delays.
