sometime back there was this issue of 1st servicing & stuff about replacing engine oil etc etc...

Here's a scanned copy of my service manual which the SVC had kept safe with him when I forgot to collect from there...

I think you were overcharged... especially routine service here costs about 150Rs AFAIK... and a special rate for tappet adjustment is unheard, but anyways 500Rs is a rip off for it! Try asking them for a rate card... most SVC has them...

what 250 kms...hahaha.....

The reason I posted this is because many people were saying about 1000 kms service coupons & free coupons by dealer & all that ....

But just now I got to see a manual of my friend from office & it is written 1000 kms at the same place where it is written 500 in mine

My guess is that they probably changed the manual somewhat after 1 year or something

Ah Dk! dont worry 500KMs makes perfect sense! Why take a risk

Karthik, second bore but the bike is still with Yamaha, getting a free restoration... till now about 12K worth stuff done on goodwill

12k you say....I couldnt get the service manager to change the faulty relay, a 150 rupee part..

Head to the customisation\modification thread... you will get better replies there with paint schemes and sticker! (search for it)

Jokes apart, relay is a electrical consumable item saar, cant be replaced for free
