I don;t understand the practicaly good part .. it's on my bike .. it looks excellent and hence is practical.

btw .. had been to perfect riders today .. am not extremely keen on the accessories after looking at them .. are the covers such as the fork center cover easily removable ? .. then they will be easily flickable and seeing the number of bikes with the yamaha stickers gone it looks like these will not last either .. the paddock stand didn't look great either .. especially the bolts holding up the wheels were already rusted.

NOT found in Magazines, Official Brochures, Websites:--> NOT EVEN XBHP?

Like these:-->

Front Disc Size,

Rear Disc Size,

Brake Calipers (Single Piston or 2),

Chain Type (O Ring or X ring? I know X ring was not in India, but "R15" has or not) ...

So, can someone find out this data, which I can't find anywhere ?? With links/ proof if possible ...
Samarth, why do I always get the impression that you're a hypertension case waiting to happen?

Anyway... carry on with the discussion. And nice bit of creativity there, Archi.

Have you actually done that on your bike.... ??

And regarding the practical part i meant that "For some things it mite look good just in the pictures, but when you come to practically implement that stuff then the outcome may differ" !!

i think that archie meant to say that he doesnt have a device to click photos with since his mobile got soaked in water and he's still arranging a digi cam for the task. To conclude i think he wants us to wait.

But im with you archie for the looks part. it may not look as cool in a pic than in real.

was going to buy some formula 1 carnauba wax today .. the instructions said that it should not be used on metalized plastic surfaces .. now the 1 5 is all plastic except the tank and hence am wondering if the wax should be used on it .. otherwise let me know of other waxes available for use on metalized plastic .. 3M I could not find.

no souvik,

these security systems which we get here arent simply upto the mark, i had got the so called 'best" system for my cbz=x and whithin 3 months it started giving stray signals for which the bike would cry out for not reason, also sometimes it simply cut the ignition while riding

also drains the battery, and cbz-x has a 7Ah battery. the security system does drain the battery

Also there will be loads of wire cutting, re joining, splicing which can easily hamper the bike which DOES depend a lot on its electricals + electronics. and its a huge headache if something does go wrong, in the R15 you have to correct any electrical issues otherwise it'll pose a problem in the running on the bike. its not like my standard bike which can also run WITHOUT a battery

best would be to invest in a thick(much thicker than the chains we use to tie our luggages in train) chain which you can keep under the seat while riding and then wind the chain up on the front wheel and lock it
