You would feel the need to lube the chain every 500-1000km. The interval would depend on the conditions you ride in and the type of chain lube you use.

Regarding the torque, low end torque is there but not that much at the same time not that less as well that you would struggle moving the bike.

Default front suspension

guys, i was just looking at the pics and noticed when i went to the showroom, are'nt the front suspensions skinny? they seem to be so thin??
is it really so or am i a fool?

btw in comparison with fz, p220 i think they are smaller... what dya have to say ?

Suspensions have no complains. They absorb almost everything Indian roads have to offer. Dont worry!

not exactly worried, just curious..
btw im so damn excited, if all goes well, in 11 days from now, i.e. 28th by this time, i would have booked the bike.. now the question is 11 days????

Damn !..

Unable to get any offroading tyre for R15...here in Mumbai..So shouting for help
What i am looked for is..
Ceat Vertigo - 100/80/17 - Looked everywhere but no luck
OR
Pirelli 110/90/17 - Is this going to eat my new sprocket ??

Can anybody here from Mumbai or fellow XBHP'ians from neighboring towns, help me on this?

hey guys, one more question.. i live away from my family (who are in delhi) in nagpur, maharashtra.. so i keep taking short/long trips.. senior members i want to know whether you've experienced any startup problems after keeping the bike unused for about 10 days?

^^ i started my bike after three weeks or more today. fired up on the first starter, and picked up idle immediately.

Its not a problem anyhow.. even i was afraid for the same when i returned after a leave of about 2 weeks.. it was just a crank and the bike started.. no worries on this part dude..

Update:
Changed the oil & filter yesterday. What amazed me was the Motul 300v (15w50) I'd been using. It had done over 5000kms, and I got paranoid and changed it. But amazing thing is over 5k kms it just lost 50ml! I measured the level and the engine drained 950ml oil! Amazing!!

Also sorted out a few stuffs. Next I'll change the spark plug. Currently running the stock Denso one.
