Talking Drag Experience ...

Today two of my best friends joined me for some fun (One with P220 DTSi and other with ZMA-R). Mischievous thoughts ran on our minds and in no time we were on our main area where we carry out drag races occasionally. Clearly, my darling RTR din't stand in front of the P220 but we achieved some good figures.

Stats for RTR 180::
Road Length = 1 km
Top Speed Achieved = 121 kmph
0-60 kmph Timer Recording = 3.4 sec

I really felt that my bike was even rising from the front while taking it in the second gear too while the drag. The light weight of the bike makes it to rise from the front in first and second gears. All in all, I din't quite like the riding position of the P220 as now I have driven my RTR a lot. P220 felt like a grandpa bike(no offense ) to me in terms of riding position and handle-bar ergonomics. I simply love the riding position and the handle-bars of the Menace. Rest I am still exploring the bike and will try to get the best out of it.

Attached are some mobile cam pics of the RTR meter recordings(Bad quality though).

Peace

@Abhishek

How much difference was there between the P220 and the 180. Also did you dragged against ZMA?

Also i think in a 1km run it could have hit higher speeds!!

Yes, Got my angel yesterday by 7.00 pm.

The pick-up is amazing, took her to temple for pooja in the same evening. (Actually "Apache" means a North American Tribe, but I'm using "her", bcoz I've fallen in love with her!!).

During night, the instrument remembers me a cockpit of an aeroplane).

Planning for good rides this weekend , will post my review after that.

The number of RTR 180 owners is going high, I think we can plan a meet in every city and post the pictures.

The ZMA guy is selling it and buying a new P220. So, we did not race it up to not to overstress it as it is gonna be sold.
The difference between the P220 and RTR was of about 10 metres when the stretch ended and it was increasing gradually.
On attaining higher speeds, am still a new bike rider and working on my gear shifts to make'em faster. RTR is my first bike ever.

Who all have clocked over 5k kms on the menace.

I wanna know what problems you all have faced. My ODO reads 5350 kms & the only problem i have is whenever you go over a pothole or breaker above 40, especially with a pillion, there is a thud sound from the rear. cant figure out where the sound is cming from.

Angry

^^^^^
I got the same problem too.
Moreover, I have one more problem, i.e. whenever I use the rear disc, there is a "Choo Choo" sound coming from the disc. What could be the problem? Is anyone else having this problem too ?
