                till now i have been using d standard tvs true 4t oil that they have been feeding my baby with..
                as of now m not having any engine issues nd get a decent mileage of around 40 even while redlineing her ocassionally
                which oil do u guys suggest as in synthetic or semi-synthetic as i intend to change my oil only after every 2.5-3k!!

                  IMO, Motul 5100 ester 4T 10w40 is the one to go for (be sure to replace the oil filter too) It's a semi-synth oil. Drain period is as you intended. Pls check the levels more often. BTW, I've changed the same oil at around 8100 km, at the SVC (bought a pack and went there) The guys changed it, in front of me, as i went for that very purpose. On my next periodic service, i will tell them not to replace the oil as i would be clocking no where close to even 1000 km.

                  @Shivank
                  Buddy, i have no words to comfort you, because if i were in your place, would have been totaled by now. But, i would be in the group of buddies who are gonna rejoice when you get the menace back!!!

                  The Apache is ever willing to red line each cog, but the Rider ain't. Enjoy RTR, Safely. Period.

                  • @ All my RTR brethren,the Menace is back and as always kicking ass!

                    Thanks for your wishes and prayers,they did pay a lot.I was in despair after running to officials daily.Thought will leave it all on to my luck and won't make any efforts now.And voila! My luck. Today afternoon got a call from NR cell and they informed me that the bike is waiting at railway station.Literally,ran there in no time and got my bike back.

                    Everything was well in order except for the visor,left front indicator and the clutch lever.I am just flabbergasted to see this.There were truckloads of load on it when I last saw her.Wonder how it managed to come out unscratched?

                    While coming back thought it would be a good idea to replace all the damaged parts today itself.It was just 760 bucks(which is very less compared to what I expected) and done in half an hour or so.After all this headache and everything,took the lonnnnnnnnnnng route home!
                    If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!
