    • Saddlesore on 180

I am planning to do a Saddlesore on 180, somewhere early next year.

I wanted to know if anyone has attempted or completed a SaddleSore on an Apache 180? I think, for a ride lasting for 1700 KMS, the forward-lean position might strain the lower back and put an excess pressure on wrists.

Any tips, suggestions from XBHP gurus might prove to be of assistance.

      • Sorry guys, my net was down for 2 days and i could not connect to you guys...
Anyways, i tried hearing where the sound is coming from, i am not able to confidently say it, its confusing, but i think its coming from the inside.
I took a couple of pictures of the spark plug,(I HOPE THIS IS THE SPARK PLUG)... What do you guys suggest i should do?

            Hi Abhijeet,

Smoothness is more and urge to go faster is even more.

The bike is as wild as ever and still a hoot to ride. Even the mileage is pretty good which varies from 35-45km/hr. It's been a 2 years of delightful experience with the bike and hoping it continue in the same manner!!
It's built to last,it'll take lot more abuse than we can muster.Congratulations.

Okay, tried really heard this time... i'm pretty sure that the sound is coming from the box kind of thing with the horizontal lines on it... the one on which we have the spark plug...
Will take pics of the spark plug in the morning and post it up... it looks like i need to use a spanner to remove it, any precautions which i need to follow while removing it/putting it back?

Use the sparkplug spanner that is part of your RTR toolkit. You have to keep unscrewing it a little longer that you think. Don't apply excessive pressure both while removing and installing it back. and make sure dirt or dust does not get into the hole where the spark plug sits.

                  • Does anybody have an idea how much the brake lever costs?

Had a skid today. A brick in the middle of the road and I saw it at the last moment (night time) and fell down while trying to avoid it. My brake lever is twisted

                              • problem!!

hey guys i have been a proud owner of a pearl white rtr 180 for the last 20 months!!
my friend had a minor accident on my bike this feb wherin he hit an auto
however i got everything done from innovative tvs service centre (bhandup--mumbai)
i have lately realised wen i cross speeds above 100 my rear tyre starts wobbling nd the bike shakes uncontrollably..
guys pls help me out as in what d reason might be...
i dont trust d tvs service centres any more so wont take the bike there as they dont seem to be very good at their work nd charge a lot too!!
hope i get this sorted asap!!
nd thanx for reading thru this entire post
