worst i got was 35~ somethingish when i was ripping full on when the bike had finished first service...
40 +/- is the normal figure in my friends circle on all kinds of rtr's., i.e., 180,160,fi....
and couple of days before i met a guy (40+years) he stood next to my bike at the ring road signal with his white180., i asked him about his mileage n stuff and he said he gets 55 average since 3rd service and i was like WOW... what mileage would he extract from a 220, if given to him.......
from then i wanted to know about mileage of others and hence i posted the question of how much u guys r getting from your bikes.....

Hello RTR owners, one small query for my friend , whats the best tyre for RTR180 which can be used in all conditions wet, dry and even for touring it gives less issues which can fit in a budget of 5000/- for both tyres, he uses the bike to travel to office which is like 12 kms a day and whenever he has the mood he goes for some ripping on the highways.

Can someone advice please?

Gray-haired riders don't get that way from pure luck.

You don’t stop riding because you’re getting old, but you get old when you stop riding.

Hey guys, how soon does the clutch plates need replacement? I'm now having lil trouble. Last week I had to change the clutch cable due to cable split at the lever end. Even with the new cable, it had to be adjusted almost to 3/4 the adjustment leeway.

Besides, valves and tappets needs to be adjusted. At higher revs the engine feels stressed...

And oh... all these just when the ride turned 1year.

@renny...

check your clutch settings,tyre pressure,lean while riding,dont do half clutch riding/racing,use less brake/clutch,don't keep braking and accelerating

yeah, the clutch setting is just fine... it ain't tight... n i do lean while cornering (that i do for better cornering, dont know y u suggested that in relation to mileage) n i dont do half clutch riding.... yeah, frequent braking n accelerating can be a cause but its the thing u can't ignore to much extent here.

Hi All Riders,
Just got my 5000KMS completed on my RTR180 black devil. Was thinking of switching to MOTUL 300V 15W50 Fully Synthetic oil. But what is confusing me is that after using mineral oil now shall i go ahead with Motul. Also is it necessary to clean the oil leftovers from engine completely before pouring the FS oil...or in case if there is a small amount of OIL left and i pour the FS oil i dont think that its gonna do any kind of harm to the engine....And in case if i switch back to mineral oil after using synthetic oil....so does it effects engine anyhow...please post your valueable suggestions
