I am also hearing this kut kut sound from the front sprocket . I was thinking that the chain is too tight and so took my bike to a nearby SVC( New and small SVC). The mechanic checked the chain and found out the chain slack is not equal in all parts. The supervisor told me that the rear spocket is damaged and will need to be changed & the cost to be around 1000. The sound is coming from the front spocket and so i will wisely ignore his finding that the rear spocket is damaged.
i asked if it could be replaced under warranty but he said that sprockets and chain are not covered under warranty.
@Drifty : please tell after you get the chain adjusted. if it helps i will also get it done.
@Blazing 180: thanks for all the help. the chain slack is at least >15mm at some parts and a little bit tighter at some places.

may be what ever is the reason, because for 180, the initial punch that it gives in pickup is unbeatable in its class. But ofcourse the top speed and a long drag race will of course throw 180 away its 220 vs 180 guys.... but of course it can beat R15 pretty easy i dont know much about a drag race, but i have ridden that R15 no doubt its a amazing machine but i didnt felt it is quite impressive in pickup can be beaten easily, dont know about a long race.......
