Hi all,
This is my first post here and believe me ive read almost all te 500 + pages here in less than a week..
I am going to buy a bike.
Ive always liked the Apache RT 180.. for the performance at such a neat price..
I know the ABS is around.. So ive been waiting for it..
But i heard its price as same as that of the P220.
Can anyone please guide me on which out of these three should i buy.. I have rode the P220 F and loved it too for the amazing speeds it can achieve withing seconds..
So this is what ive short-listed : The Apache RTR 180, Apache RTR 180 ABS or the Pulsar 220F ..
Please advice. Which one should i go for..???

Btw u should post this in What bike section
never mind

If u want a bike with great cornering and pickup then go for RTR 180 + if u would like to have a peace of mind while braking then RTR 180 ABS is for u

Don't know any thing much about the P220F but i think it has great stability on highways.

You can use any other brand of oil I prefer MOTUL. And you can switch to either semi or fully synthetic... Just stick to xW40 grade...

And regarding mods, you will lose warranty. Don't think the mods are worth it right now. Log in a few more kms

Use a semi synthetic for now. Castrol Power1 is what I would recommend. I have experienced engine heat ups too with tvs mineral oil.

Yes, the ABS is full DC. Buggers! Not sure about the tyres. But even the 180 stock tyres are soft compound. Maybe they have used the "high tech" tyres with hard compound in middle and soft compound on sides...
