Default Impressions

Hi everyone,

I've had my new RTR 180 for a month now. Done >880 km as of today. Did the first service at 515. Max speed: 120kmph. Mileage: not yet checked.

The things I like about the bike are:
1. Great low and mid-range torque.
2. The one about no rev-limit - even at 11k rpm, its still climbing...
3. Agile - lighter than Pulsar, Unicorn etc, but still firmly planted to the road, and more confidence inspiring.
4. Awesome high speed cornering stability - Tight right turns at over 90 kmph (on good roads) are sooo silky smooth.
5. The best braking performance I've experienced.
6. I love the blue-backlit console and its features.

Few concerns I have are:
1. Like it was said in one of the recent posts, 3 times, when the console showed that the bike was in Neutral, on releasing the clutch, the bike lurches forward lightly, as though it was in 2nd gear.
2. Seems like the rear brake pad is constantly touching the disk, as on rolling the bike I can hear slight squeaking sound, and after a ride, the rear disk is a lot hotter than the front disk.
3. When braking from a high speed, if I happen to lean to either side, seems like the front part of the bike dips to the same side putting me into a greater lean - I'm not sure of this, if its just me, or due to the road surface profile - if anyone has felt the same lets discuss this.

To sum it up..... I just love my bike...

Regards,
Lijo

Today while coming back from college.I opted to reach my place via expressway. The bike managed to do a top whack of 121kmph with two on-board.The handlebar was vibrating as if i've kept my hands on mixer!

Here is the pic..

BTW, take a look at that tacho needle.I don't know what happened to it but yes,it shows i was revving the bike 'truly MADLY deeply'...
