Tip of the Day

Careful with that leaking water tanker ahead

That water tanker ahead, trailing a stream of 'precious' water behind it. Treat the patch as you would the entire road during rain. Even a foot-wide trail of water is enough to cause you to skid and fall.

    Give it a shot... I had the exact same problem... Got the mech to take it apart and clean the carb a bit... The hiccups vanished..

    I have to get new alloys, should i buy them separately and give it to SC guys for fitting or just ask them to replace it and just pay money?
    I had to put a tube in the front rubber due to a accident, if i put an alloy will i have to get a new tyre or can i continue with the existing one by removing the tube?
    Misfiring==bad tuning

    About the tyre and alloy problem, give it to SVC, they'll fix the alloy themselves (if they have it in stock, obviously). And, your tyre can be re-used if it doesn't have any damage. What was the reason behind using a tube? Air leakage due to bent alloy?

    May be some dirt particle from petrol is the culprit. Loosen the overflow screw (thats what I know it to be called, correct me if I'm wrong) and let some mL petrol drain out. It may remove the dirt particle which could be struck at the jet/needle opening.

    Have you tried draining out the water by loosening the screw below the idle rpm screw (Just be sure to put the fuel knob to off position before doing so)

    I always do this whenever I face the hiccup problem.

    Ok. I'll try that. If more petrol has to be sacrificed, so be it!

    I dont know, when i had an accident and the alloy got bent, the(outside mechanic trusted by my friend) guy said he will do something to straighten the tyre and put a tube to the tyre, later he said he managed to straighten it only a little bit but it is rideable by installing a tube in the tyre, but after trying hard to get used to it for a couple of months i am finding it difficult to ride with a bent alloy as its affecting my front break a lot, its damn difficult to use the front break above 50kmph. The bike kind of starts knocking.
