Just a word of caution... Over 95% of Fox gear available locally is fake & a scam... suggest that u stick to either a local or a more trustworthy brand. Just a heads up on for ya :-)Originally posted by santosh.k View PostKnee guards - Are the Fox ones locally available alright?? Re: The Official Mumbai Offline Meet(G2G) Thread
That title is not up for grabs... given the current condition of my ride, I don't think anyone amongst the usual suspects even qualify for usurping it 8-)Originally posted by DeVille View PostI might just usurp the title of Captain Slow if it's a wet ride
And if it rains on that day... I am simply gonna drop out of the ride. I intend to live for a few more years just yet & hence would rather stay home sucking suds instead of daring a wet ride on my avenger 200.Last edited by whymail; 05-22-2013, 12:10 AM.◦ ● 4-wheels move the body... 2-wheels move the soul ● ◦

Further to what centaur said, pls refer to post #1 of this thread. There r links to 2 Google docs...Originally posted by I_Live2Ride View Postby the way, I would need the riding gears except the helmet... Can some one assist me with this please? I'll order my stuff after I get this month's salary
Thanks.
-the ICE sheet: pls update the sheet with ur details if already not done so
-the riding gear lending sheet: pls check for stuff u want... locate folks who live closer to where u r... call them up & request them for lending the requisite gear... once u r back from the ride, clean up the gear & return it to the owner
Hope this helps :-)◦ ● 4-wheels move the body... 2-wheels move the soul ● ◦

As far as i know all the fox gear sold locally is fake. Have been waiting for the new model of cramster to come up.Originally posted by whymail View PostJust a word of caution... Was thinking of sourcing scoyco online, but that would take around a month to come.
If it rains even I would be dropping out of the ride.---

We've gone for rides with Passions, Unicorns, FZs and Dazzlers.... so what's the problem with the 200s?

lol - so have i - hero honda cd100 [bla-1202] was my preferred bike for riding in wetOriginally posted by Centaur View PostWe've gone for rides with Passions, Unicorns, FZs and Dazzlers.... so what's the problem with the 200s?
dunno abt others but i have several reasons why i cannot ride in rains:
- have a medical condition wherein, while riding in rains, my right knee gets 'locked' abruptly due to cramps [perhaps due to the metal plates within - darn i need to WD40 that joint of mine i guess] & when that happens i cant even move a damned muscle on it, let alone braking
- my avenger 200 is by far a death-warrant riding in rains & all the bikes u mentioned above are awesome & far far well mannered when it comes to braking or maintaining straight line stability in wet conditions [especially the unicorn & the fz - those are just as good in wet as they are in dry] and as i said, wud still prefer to live for a few years more just yet. i am plumb simply scared to take her for a spin in rains. ga*nd fatti hain! guess that's a reason big enuff for me to stay home

err pardon my ignorance... am new around here... but u actually mean folks here meet [or used to meet] every fortnight? seriously!?!?Originally posted by Edd View PostNo fortnightly meet?
man... wudnt that be something!
guess folks around mumbai are too busy chasing money
