Nice pics nomad
Just flick the switch and twist my wrist
The beast comes alive, bringing me back to life
A tap to shift and flick of the wrist
The beast takes flight bringing me back to life
Kill the silence, tear apart the dark
The beast rips the road, hell yeah, i feel alive.

Nomad, notice that the rear tyre hugger is off (and not to mention the gorgeous saree guard too ! )

How much of an issue it was with the mud splattering in the rains?

Or did the tail cum rear number plate mitigate the problem in a big way?

Nice pics nomad. But would like to know about your experience with the 390 on the ride. Like top speed, average fuel consumption, ride comfort and ergonomics, head light effectiveness at night, if wind blast was an issue.

I know these are too many questions but im sure there are a lot of us folks who would be interested in knowing.

top speed on the ride:- 154 with some more twist left.did it sitting upright, wanted to feel the blast.
avg fuel consumption over 2400kms ride:- 25
ride comfort:- pretty good for even a 6ft tall rider, i would every 50kms stretch my legs on the leg gaurd.
wind blast, is crazy above 120kph, but on our roads it's good to maintain 115kph with occasional bursts to the range of 130-150 kph.
wind blast is an issue, if you stick to the tank, you will get extra 5 kph on the same throttle position.
windscreen and a brighter bulb is a must.

Vaterra "Claw" bags are super awesome, no issues even at sustained high speeds over 12-14 hr riding. you fix it once and take it off at the end of the ride day.
bought, motul chain degreser and chain lube, super comfy, specially in the monsoons when you clean it quite often.

you dont get tired easily on this bike, i planned all fuel stops for the bike and me every 200kms+. tank up, chai, sutta, something to eat and you're set for another 200kms.

and the bike has noticeably opened up after 3.5k kms.

.

sounds good, but still some where i feel a 350cc+ bike should do better 180kmph....eventually RC model will get real cookies...and attract the racers out there..

I dont think the RC390 will be faster than D390. It's got the same engine, right? Plus with the fairing i think it'll weigh more. Guess it'll be easier to hold on to triple digit speeds....

It will have better stability on higher ends and it will help rider from wind blasts. Mostly all GR250 /Ninja /CBR /R15 would go for RC instead of naked one.

Probably some might go for P375 as well. It has good looks and spec!
Naked has it's own world. Very different from Faired in handling and maneuverability, etc... I love naked as well
