Exactly the thing that happened to me and I did a few days back!

Well, there are some morons who cross the road in a jolly manner as if taking a stroll in the garden. If I plan to swerve around them, to tackle them round their back , they stop right there thus making me re figure my plans and to apply a huge countersteer to go other side

chaosaddict Carry a crowbar with you, I carry a bicycle chain all the time with me now-a-days. If I were you, I'd note down the number and next day he's gonna get the surprise of his lifetime. But I guess that may not be possible in a city like Bangalore. I have done some pretty nasty things before to other vehicles for messing with me on the road.

I hope u were joking here. We certainly do not encourage road rage and vandalism here.

Self defense is not vandalism and road rage. Riding bicycles in rural roads here at night, you can encounter anything from drunks, dogs, guys trying to beat you suspecting you are "posol manuh" (slippery man) and if you are having very pot luck, tigers and elephants.

How do you guys take care of such IDIOTS??? I didn't even see any Policewalas on the way

The best way to take care of such idiots is to act like police man if you are 30 plus looks age does matter if below that make your relative a officer

I mean i have done this picked up a fight with a car guy (chevy cruze) came from the wrong side and some how managed to get his car wink (front headlight broke)
and chor machaye shor asked me to pay for the damages or get it done from garage i refused totally to which he said he would take me to a police station i agreed i told him to wait a minute i will call my uncle who is the inspector there we will go in the police jeep and settle the matter there, and guess what man started buttering me up and surprisingly said he wanted to go to a meeting and also paid me 100 bucks as i had a scratch on the front protective grill of my pep

Also check out the smart @ss biker on the right extreme of the pic... Is there any dearth of this... shouldn't be any... especially knowing that I myself probably classify among the idiots at some point in time in life...

Exceptions can't be taken as examples mate. The action(s) should be situation-based and not pre-planned. Looks like you expect something to happen definitely and carry a cycle chain or crowbar all the time. This doesn't portray true self defense for a innocent or ignorant common man.

Not trying to initiate a debate, but looks like you are either heavily influenced by action movies or have deep grudge on something that gives you a feel of insecurity. Just in case if you were to be interrogated by patrol officers you could be behind bars for at least a night entertaining the fellow-mates until you prove your self defense theory and innocence.

Hence, a possible bad start of a day was in fact one of the best starts I have ever had.
The only part missing is a beautiful girl cross over in slow motion when you were giving the chocolates to frightened kids. To add to the scene, you do not notice her but she is watching errr...admiring your helping nature . To top it all, one of the kid just pulls you down, gives a cute hug and kisses you and says "thank you Divya uncle" and off you take off in your Karizma only to find the same beautiful girl coming to you at your office parking lot to congratulate you again for the good deed you just did and......
Phew!!! How much more I can imagine to give you a good start for today

Seriously, we watch such people only in movies mate. It is so very nice to know you got down the bike to help out the kids with chocolates. I feel guilty for not doing anything about such situations that I encountered earlier. Maybe I need more of social responsibility attitude that you already have.

Kudos Divya sharan-ji!!!
