    Help me !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi Guys,

    I am looking to upgrade to an android from Wave 533. Can anybody suggest a suitable phone preferably samsung and their pros and cons. I saw on the samsung website that the Galaxy 551 is the exact replica of wave 533.

    MY REQUIREMENTS

    1. Budget : 15k
    2. Big screen and keypad as in Wave 533.
    3. Android
    4. Should have good navigation qualities.
    5. Preferably a Samsung since havent used other brands as much so lack of trust.

            Galaxy ace is crap screen for the price. in 15k you get a 320x480 screen.

                Look out for SE Xperia TEXT & PRO, 2 handsets launched very recently and u should be able to find one in your locality. Samsung ACE is available for your budget but it is not worth 15k to spend on.

                Alternatively u can take WAVE-2 which is bigger and better, Motorola Defy is also a good option to consider...

                      I would recommend Samsung Galaxy S2. Its the ultimate performer at the moment!

                      iphone4 will still be iphone4 and has much more status and flair to it compared to a Samsung product, but still- on pure performance terms it doesnt match the Galaxy S2!

                        If budget is no problem then close ur eye and pick up Galaxy S2. It has unlimited upgrade options and there are already upgraded firmwares floating in internet and rooting a Samsung phone is damn easy.

                        I choose my Galaxy S over Iphone 4 and i dnt regrect even a bit. I am already running Darkys rom with S2 interface and its damn fast .

                          Get a new phone for your Day, thats more sensible. The phones to buy are in the following order.

                          1)samsung galaxy S2
                          2)lg optimus 2xp990
                          3)samsung galaxy s
                          4)i phone 4 16 gb factory unlocked 2nd hand for 25k!

                          My long time friend cum room mate bought an i phone 4 inspite of me telling him to get SGS2. Now every day i can see him sitting in front of the computer having his i phone 4 connected to the computer throught i tunes. We put silione cover to protect the phone, apple advises it to have good reception. God, i hate restrictions.

                            I should have waited and got an SGS2. The Galaxy S i9000 is still a good phone, though, and I'm still loving it. But one can wish. The iPhone is somewhere down on my list, though, below these phones.

                              Yes, i phone is there in my wishlist too. I love it for the design and weighted feel in the hand. Its small and cute to look at. But when it comes to functionality and multi tasking, you know who is the king.

                              BTW, having custom roms in the SGS makes it really fast. New SGS1 is available for 21 k which is a steal for the AMOLED screen and Humming bird procy when compared to i9003 which is around 20 k.

                                Might experiment with Darky's ROMs in the future, but am running on stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 right now. Samsung have a good record with their updates in the recent past unlike LG, and Motorola being one of the worst, which just released Android 2.2 for their Defy.
