                best phone under a budget of 10k?? I want to keep my budget as low as possible
                preferences are of Android OS & a good cam though any other options are welcome as well
                need urgent advices as I am going to buy this phone tomorrow..

                  Best one that I can suggest is Karrbon A18. What ever it is, but don't go for A9+

                  If u r looking for a branded phone, then go for xperia Tipo.

                      Did any of you guys check these out? I would say they are more trustworthy than MMX and Karbonn (Due to better service presence)

                      For a 10-11k ish budget, Lenovo P700i smartphone looks good enough to me.
                      Advice is a form of nostalgia.
                      Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

                        aare, Buddy, I already had this in my mind, right at the time when GSM arena (Lenovo P700 - Full phone specifications) updated it on their site.
                        Just that this One hadn't their price listed in India. In fact I mailed to Lenovo, asking for the price and availability, but didn't get any reply from them.
                        It surely have mind-blowing specs, at the price which it is being offered (thanks to u for the price link). One one tiny-miny thing missing form my bucket list is led flash for the camera

                        In fact, right now I searched for the price and availabilty and none of the on-line sites have updated it till now. (https://www.google.co.in/search?q=pr...ient=firefox-a)
                        What do u suggest?? Should I go to Lenovo Showroom directly??

                          Well they are showing up as coming soon on Flipkart as of now. The P700i is selling for 11.2-11.3k elsewhere online. The only place I found them was Free with Lenovo Ultrabooks I saw in a Croma store but as an online offer.

                          For around 10k, you also get Nokia Lumia 510 / 610 which are, to be really truthful, delightful to use as compared to Androids. They won't match the Droids spec on spec, but have to be used to be truly experienced.

                          I had sampled a Karbonn A9 and A9+ and they were truly pathetic. I was comparing them with a 6.5k Samsung dual-sim droid and the Samsung was so much better at doing anything and everything. The only thing the Karbonn phones had going for themselves was the screen size and resolution. It was so bloody laggy right out of the box that my phone could load photos off 3G faster than this phone managed from internal memory.

                            U can see that I suggested @111Dialbo111 not to go for Karbonn A9+.
                            1stly A9+ is same to same as A9, but 9+ has a dual core processor.. (but that is just a marketing gimmick)
                            A9+ processors are based on age old cortex A5 processor, and Also have a out-dated GPU. So, even being a Dual core, it will perform slower than other upgraded single core processor phones.

                            So, if going for KArbonn, go for A18 (under 10K) but have an upgraded processor, and GPU., along with good screen resolution, 5MP camera and stuffs.
                            Demerits -weak plastic glossy back cover, and low battery life

                            As for lenovo P700i, HomeShop18 is selling @12500/- but it can't be delivered to kolkata!!!
                            I urgently needed a phone , as we will b going to Nainital on 1st week of Dec, and need the GPS. but luckily a colleague of dad offered to lend his MapMyIndia for the tour. So, I can delay my Android purchase a little late. By Then P700 wud b available.
