Guys, Defy is available for 16k.

Buy Motorola Defy at Best Price in India - Also find Specifications, Photos, Features & Reviews use coupon code icicilb. Its the ideal phone for us bikers because its rugged (gorilla glass, water/dust/shock resistant in the true sense. the screen is bigger than Ace and has a good display (854x480) vs 320x480. plus defy can get gingerbread upgrade courtesy the hacker community. many of us on teambhp and about 16.5k people worldwide have installed gingerbread on it. its IP67 compliant. Plus you cna overclock it very nicely and it will beat the pants off even galaxy sl.

Damn, the phone is available at 30.5k around 5~6 days before the official launch date by samsung. Just drooling what will it be after the official launch. Let is get lauched all over india and it will be sub 30 k for sure.

Are you talking about Wildfire S ? i had used the Wildfire and the only minus was its pixelated screen. Now with the upgraded resolution, it should be fine. But i have no idea since i have not used it, nor have i done an extensive research on it.

may i know which dealer called u ? and is there any demo for the sgs2 ?

I would wholeheartedly recommend this phone to you.

how is the camera clarity when compared to phones of same mega pixel with an flash? and also is the update process easy..??

I have been watchin that thread for quite some time. Its available for 30 k without any bargain..i prefer to test the phone in hand and buy it. More over, after 9th, i believe you can walk to the stores straight and buy the phone for the same price. If i get three more ppl along with me, we can finish the deal for 29 k without any hassle. For 20 + phones, you can order it straight from samsung nominating one as a dealer, rather than to to order from infibeam or flipkart. After all, these online resellers have to make some money out of each deal(profit) to run their business.

The image quality is more than sufficient as long as there is enough lighting. But then it could be that the brilliant Super AMOLED display is showing it in a better light

. As for the update process, it is just a matter of less than 30 minutes. And the best part is, because it is the official release of Gingerbread 2.3.3, my warranty is completely intact, which would not be the case if I rooted it.

Bought and used a N8 which is now lying in my luggage

, was in usa so bought a Iphone 4 unlocked with gevey, am personally in love with the Galaxy S2 from the day it was announced but bought a Iphone 4 as was getting it at a good price here and now am in love with it.

My friend owned a Galaxy S and told me that it had a horrid battery life, the iphone 4 easily lasts me 1.5 days with 10% battery remaining after mod to heavy usage.

Hows the battery life of Galaxy S2? Might sale the iphone 4 and get the S2 when i come to India in Aug

Happen to buy the phone around 9.30 pm yesterday and came back home around 12 pm after caught up in the Horrid rain and traffic in chennai yesterday.

From today morning, the phone is not in my hands. It has been in various hands for the past 1.5 hours

. I am yet to use it. Will check and let you know once i happen to use it fully. Keeping the dataconnection turned on is draining the battery very fast. But that is just the initial comments. But agreed on the part that i phone has better battery life. But personally i find using the SGS2 a bit hard with single hand....Yes , reaching the far end corners of the phone in single hand is impossible

Ok... will Motorola's experiences with Android be good enough for you?

... no point in arguing this further ... I rest my case.

Using the S2 with one hand is indeed gonna be impossible due to that mammoth lovely screen

. I would wait for your battery update, if it lasts a day with good usage i might clinch it... I absolutely love that super amoled plus screen, its not even launched here in usa

And you would have a hard time trying to keep that phone away from others
