@All - OK,You all need to hear this news. EVen chennai has the availability of Samsung Galaxy S2 for 30.5 k. Got a call in the noon.

Damn, the phone is available at 30.5k around 5~6 days before the official launch date by samsung. Just drooling what will it be after the official launch. Let is get lauched all over india and it will be sub 30 k for sure.

Are you talking about Wildfire S ? i had used the Wildfire and the only minus was its pixelated screen. Now with the upgraded resolution, it should be fine. But i have no idea since i have not used it, nor have i done an extensive research on it.

Its 29k here

better wait as SG2 has that dead pixels and yellow spots issues right now

I have been watchin that thread for quite some time.Its available for 30 k without any bargain..i prefer to test the phone in hand and buy it. More over,after 9th, i believe you can walk to the stores straight and buy the phone for the same price. If i get three more ppl along with me, we can finish the deal for 29 k without any hassle. For 20 + phones, you can order it straight from samsung nominating one as a dealer, rather than to to order from infibeam or flipkart. After all, these online resellers have to make some money out of each deal(profit) to run their business.

The image quality is more than sufficient as long as there is enough lighting. But then it could be that the brilliant Super AMOLED display is showing it in a better light

. As for the update process, it is just a matter of less than 30 minutes. And the best part is, because it is the official release of Gingerbread 2.3.3, my warranty is completely intact, which would not be the case if I rooted it.

Guys, my seven months wait for a new phone is finally over. It started when Nokia N8 was released and thank goodness i had some will power not to buy a Nokia again.

This phone is a real rocket when it comes to speed and damn its very light too, i am amazed by the display of this phone even after having used i Phone 4 for some time.

Its the most powerful phone your money can buy.I hope you all get what phone i am talking about

Happen to buy the phone around 9.30 pm yesterday and came back home around 12 pm after caught up in the Horrid rain and traffic in chennai yesterday.

From today morning, the phone is not in my hands. It has been in various hands for the past 1.5 hours

. I am yet to use it. Will check and let you know once i happen to use it fully. Keeping the dataconnection turned on is draining the battery very fast. But that is just the initial comments. But agreed on the part that i phone has better battery life. But personally i find using the SGS2 a bit hard with single hand....Yes , reaching the far end corners of the phone in single hand is impossible
