It's a RTR bottom with a 4 valve top in a delta box chassis. It takes some engineering ingenuity to do what is being attempted here.Originally posted by thecivic View PostOnly a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

Re: Race Concepts - Next Level performance!
Hey friends. Wanted to share something regarding joel's freeflow exhaust
Every person thinking or planning to buy should go ahead and buy. This product is worth the money.
Looks of the ffe is good compared to other after market ones.
I never knew how it sounds and performs before buying. So I was desperately waiting for my delivery but delivery time was killing me & finally got the delivery in 2 weeks.
Performance of the ffe is mind blowing. Sounds much louder when decibel killer is taken off. Can be heard easily from half kilometer away. Performance is bonus. Got very good bump in mid range and top end. fully satisfied with the product.
Special message for joel
You need to pack the product in such a way that it wont even get a scratch during the shipping because i am fully satisfied with the products performance not by the way it was packed. Even after requesting you to put a handle with care lable, no lable was found. This time also there were few dents found at the end of the ffe. So please read my message and do the packing for your future customers. Its my special request.

More than 98 percent of convicted criminals are bread eaters !
Statistics show that more than 75 % of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread !
Bread is known to be extremely addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water, actually begged for bread after just two days !
Bread has been proven to kill. Scientists have now uncovered alarming evidence that 100% of the people who eat bread will eventually die !

Re: Race Concepts - Next Level performance!
I ordered joel DB killer for the FFE on my FZ16 by this January 2013.
He asked me to deposit 750Rs in his HDFC account as usual and I did.I waited for the parcel to reach for 2 weeks. After getting out of patience I called, emailed, messaged him to send me the DB killer and every time he said that I am right on it to send it to me.
Till date I haven't received it.
Definately Rs 750 is not a big amount to loose but definately my trust has been lost in him.I had planned BIG BORE KIT for my fz16 but had to stall that thought due to trust conflict .
Guys if any1 of you have faced this problem then please let me know or if there is some solution to it??"As I lay rubber

Re: Race Concepts - Next Level performance!
I personally have not faced any problem but I was planning to pick the RC kit from a long time and haven't picked it till now just because I trust my peer group, if you know what I mean. My close xbhpian friend snehithpereira from Bangalore (read Bangalore) has been trying to get a DB killer but in vain. So you do the guess work.Originally posted by cool20bud View PostDefinately Rs 750 is not a big amount to loose but definately my trust has been lost in him.I had planned BIG BORE KIT for my fz16 but had to stall that thought due to trust conflict .

Ahhh sorry to be the bearer of bad news my friend.. you can kiss goodbye to your db killer hopes.Originally posted by cool20bud View PostI ordered joel DB killer for the FFE on my FZ16 by this January 2013.

I recently received confirmation from RC that no more db killers are being manufactured, as a matter of fact I was recommended to keep an eye out for a "new ffe with integrated db killer"
Seems like the best way to fix a rs.750 problem is by spending rs.7500 . Way to go RC
Btw: I'll get in touch with you, I got some plans for RC . The more members (plaintiffs) I get , the better
Edit: until you get a db killer or are able to find an alternative to it, might I suggest you try some different kind of packing for the ffe.
Tired sick of the amount of disturbance the loud noise was causing to others, just last week I tried a new ffe packing and it is working great for me now. The horrible treble screech is gone and now I have this nice smooth base like sound from my ffe without any damage to the bikes performance

Re: Race Concepts - Next Level performance!
Firstly, have you been using the ffe in stock form or have you tried filling it with glass wool/ceramic wool.Originally posted by cool20bud View PostI got it what you meant!!!

If you have not done any packing for the ffe previously, please search the DIY section of the forum. IIRC there is a thread on ffe repacking, follow the same procedure and you will get great results. Once you go through it if you still got any queries do let me know.
I personally used a combi packing of steel mesh, steel wool, glass wool, fibre glass wool, glass wool in the same order and got some great results.

I am using FFE in stock form only and I also do have the DB killer but it's shape is kind of of distorted.
Here it is what happened that while riding on highway the DB killer popped out and a truck ran over it.It became a plain sheet of steel after that.
I went to some welding shop and got it correct as much as possible but after that I haven't got the performance at par with as it was before.
Well I am pretty much thankful for the Ffe filling info that you shared with me .Maybe I can give it a try.
One query 0- For how long will 1 FFE filling last?"As I lay rubber
