    nice info.!

Just now after reading this thread i came to know what type of bending i am curently doing. The same as bending the bike more and keping the weight on the uper side rather than leaning since it helps me more to keep the bike down while bending but i have tried the other style too adopted commonly by rider's and i must say it absolutely is correct dynamically.

well i normally run 1-2 psi lower than the recommended pressures. since i experience good roads with corners only when im doing a relatively bigger ride since i do not have any roads nearby in good condition and suitable corners.

and that countersteering link was excellent ! the experiment with the kwacker 6r was simply understandable.

shall try out cornering in the morning near DD hills lemme see.
We counter steered after all at DD hills the other day then..
    Thanks for that link Killer.
    Jaw dropping info there.
And i was thinking of trying out counter steering only when i upgrade my machine to something with way wider tyres..!!

It is the 'countersteering force' on the bars that turns the bike. Read this link for more clarity on that. Superbike School :: No B.S. Machine

"Steering a motorcycle results from the process of pushing the inside bar forward, the same angle and direction the forks rotate in the steering head bearings. You can also pull on the outside bar. You can do both push and pull. That is what turns it, that is all that turns it with any degree of accuracy, efficiency, quickness or smoothness. That and only that, No B.S.

-about the leaning position, its it the body weight shifting which actually is supposed to turn the bike around the corner ? and not primarily forceful steering of the handlebars ?

@Technocrat - Sorry, i wasnt clear enough. I meant you grip the tank with your legs when you're lean't forward in a straightline / shifting your butt out / braking before the turn, the idea is to keep the pressure off the bars during those times. You will then release the inner leg as you start to fall into the turn but since you have shifted your butt out, your outer thigh will by then support your weight against the tank and prevent you from putting pressure on the bars. These points of your body that are holding you to the bike and keeping pressure off the bars are the "lock-on" points i was refering to in a earlier post

    ball of the foot:-
