      In case of going for a carb tune, taking it to a local expert would make more sense than taking it to the HH service center ?

        If its a trusted mech,Then you dont have to worry about it. Still stay with the bike and always keep an eye on his work.

          Get it tuned at a good mechanic, just have a look hows its being done,so thatu can do it urself in case u have to. just dont let him know k u dont know much about bikes.ask him k GAADI TEL PEE RAHI HAI,CABRBURATOR CHECK KAR DO

          • my bike not starting as it earlier used to.requires 2-3 long selfs now. it aint battery's fault,neither lean air-fuel mixture.

                not just in the morning but even in afternoon also. right no came from market and if i dont twist the throttle, engine stalls,my IDLE RPM is also correct. dont know whats the problem

                    when i try to start when the engine is not hot, i need to accelerate for some seconds, if i release the accelerate the engine will turn off and i need to start again and accelerate. if i rode it about 2min there is no problem for starting at that time when the engine is hot i don't need to accelerate.

                    is your the same situation?

                      This is cold start and is not a problem,Its common for most bikes.

                          hmm thanks god i think its only my problem heheee.

                          only one day i got a milage of 55kmpl i dont know its my fault that i put petrol before reserve. i calculate milage by reserve to reserve.
                          yesterday i checked. avg milage i got is 45kmpl in city and highway conditions mixed. my rpm at idle is 1 by myself. i saw a screw beside carb tuning is it some thing related to tuning? it can be only turn by a screw driver tool.
                          am i need to go to local svc for getting tune for more milage?

                          KMS :2000kms
                          oil changed at 1700kms

                            Is that brass colored ,if yes then its the AFR adjusting screw,clockwise turn => Lean mixture/higher mileage, anticlockwise turn=> rich mixture/lower mileage

                            • Happy Diwali to all xBHPians

                              off late i wasn't really in touch with the forums. To give you an update, I've done 409KM as of today Was washing it as a part of diwali preparation and as this was my first wash, I saw few things which I don't know about.

                              can someone help me about these three loose-ended pipes dangling near the exhaust pipe? I touched one and it was wet. Smelled like petrol to me.

                              Also the red tube lying inside the vehicle (Should be somewhere below the point where seats split.

                                every one getting 50kmpl+ i am only getting 45kmpl my driving style is 48-53kmph
