    Ok this is what happening to me.....I rode like 82 kms after hitting reserve and when i shake the tank i can still hear the petrol sound but didnt take any risk and went to petrol bunk and got 150 rs petrol which is 2 ltr approx Now i put the bike in ON mode and it gave me like 24 kms and the bike went to reserve and then again i rode till like 72 kms and did the same thing BUT THIS time the just after 3 kms the bike ran out of petrol in ON mode and yesterday i ran again till 80 and did the same and it ran out of petrol in ON mode just after 1 km......

      • Hi guys ! Has anyone tried meddling with their Xtreme's looks? My friend has a 2009 model and he's been asking me to search for a new fairing , I took special interest since I might do the same a couple of years down the line

        So , here are my basic questions :-
        1. Will an R15 fairing be a direct fit on the xtreme ? or should the tank and the fairing be welded together ?

        2. I saw an xtreme with an ZMR fairing , It looked quite stunning , I'd like to know more if anybody knows about this !?

          Fairing restricts cooling cause your bike's air cooled. The best option would be to opt for a semi-fairing else keep it stock.

          • Yes , but the air ducts in R15 , will they re-direct the air to the engine?
            and isn't ZMR air cooled too ? I'm really confused

              No, i checked it, its from the rear right shock, i can see spray or drops of oil near shock after long or bumpy ride. the oil from shock fell in to disk and so the rear disk is not effective.
              My cbz abt 1.75 months old and its leaking till time of delivery, completed 1.8k on odo, does cbz shock have such amount of oil in it

                Oh this happened to me once right the next day of my 3rd servicing but only on that day the rest of the days its fine....and isnt the suspension of xtreme a gas one..?

                  help me out..please..

                  My bike has developed a new problem. The engine tends to die above 4k. As if there is no fuel. I ve no clue wat has happened. Did a 65 km ride today. Everything was perfect until 64.5 kms. The problem was seen in the last 500 mtrs only. Its all fine if I revv it in neutral upto 8k. While idling also, its all fine.
                  There was no problem with the engine that I knew of. Like clogged filter or faulty plug. Only the tappets were loose.
                  I did 2-3 push starts (on a downward slope). The problem was seen after this. May be this has got something to do here..?

                  somebody please help me out..fast..

                          It was rather abrupt.
                          Fuel line is clear I think. Its revving up freely in neutral and also idling fine.
                          I suspect it to be something with CDI. Coz the restriction is rather highly orderly and 'progrmmed'. I dont know how to explain, I mean its not like running out of fuel which is jerky and restriction is random.
                          This is periodic, repeatable and the way RPM coming down is like being controlled by something. So it has to be the CDI. Where and what exactly is the connector that I need to inspect..?

                            Guys,

                            I have a problem with my HUNK...

                            My bike struggles to reach 60kmph ... I have to give really hard throttle to reach 60.... After 60, if I try to push it further then the engines makes a lot of noise (as if it is stressed to the full extent).... Don't know why this is happening.... I mentioned this to the service guys (Hero ASC)) on my service, they just told that it is because of clutch settings... But even after the service I am having the issue ...

                            My ODO reads 9300km... I have completed 5 services... I am currently running on Shell 10w40 SS oil...

                                AFAIK either me or the ASC guys have not changed any setting of the CARB (So it should have the stock setting)... I am not sure there are any reason for it to be messed up automatically... If u feel it can be the reason then I might take it to some mech and get it checked..
