Please stay away from mileage tuning's. All they'll do is mess up your ride be it car or bike. You can overhaul any other part via a mech except a carb, cause a carb has to be tuned by the guy who constantly rides the bike, only then it'll be a perfect tune.Originally posted by ATHUL4R View Postits just tuned by a mechanic. i went there for mileage tuning.Motorcycling Experience:

inquired about Angel rings and came to know that those would cost 400Rs per pair without instllation (100 rs). I know its little difficult to open the reflector part, but mechanic will also open it to fit that Ring inside it,than why not i and more imp HOW CAN I ?
.there are several tiny plastic hooks around the border to keep it tight, how can those be loosen ??
Anybody has any process except that oven one,coz i dont have 1
.is it reasonable price for a pair ? BTW Wont go for an HID unless i upgrade my battery, may be after completing my warranty period.

1. Heat the dome inside an oven.
2. Open it by applying mild force and try gently unclipping the small clip like thingi's.
3. Do what you have to do.
4. Close it as it was before and take special care while pushing the clips in.
5. Apply some heavy duty glue.
DONE.

Hello,
My Self Gagan staying in Delhi, working in Gurgaon .
My daily commuting is around 50KM ( Up and Down). In viewing this I sell out my pulsar 150CC & brought passion pro
But now i realized that I made a mistake , as far as mileage is concerned i am getting 55Kmpl but i am suffering from back problem as i am tall & slightly healthier :P.
Please suggest any good bike within 70-80K rupees in 150 cc segment, which can give me decent mileage also will not become problem for me ( oh!! my back is getting more pain day by day).
What about Suzuki GS, and also anything you can suggest me
ALSO LET ME KNOW WHICH ONE IS BEST HUNK OR EXTREME.....FOR ME... APART FROM SUZUKI.
ThanksLast edited by jammbuster; 02-05-2012, 10:14 PM.

Both Hunk and Extreme share the same mill and are comparatively more radically tuned in comparison with the Unicorn.Originally posted by jammbuster View PostHello,

I knew this method but there must be another way coz i dont think that mechanic would use an oven for this.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostCaution - Please dont try this, am just providing the info for educational purpose.

There should be some sort of JUGAAD
Best way is to get ur hands on these bikes, test drive and see if the looks/sitting style/features suits u. U can compromise on something u dont need.Originally posted by jammbuster View Post

Yamaha FZ : not for ur height, HEALTH rather.
GS-150 R : Nice bike, test ride it.
Pulsar 150/180/200 : U already know how they are..
Avenger/Enticer : If that suits ur style.
CBZ/HUNK : Both good, feels slightly underpower(maybe due to excess weight) as compared to others but excellent smoothness/performance. Among these two i guess CBZ riding style wont hurt ur back

Acchi hai,test drive it.

usually they apply heat using a heat gun. The device is somewhat similar to hair dryers but this emits air in much higher temp to soften the glue. Same thing is done to put it back.Originally posted by itssaurabh.negi View Post[B]I knew this method but there must be another way coz i dont think that mechanic would use an oven for this.

IMO Xtreme is better anyday than hunk not that i own one...but in terms of style....the new xtreme has the new trend of alloy wheels which all the new upgraded bikes are getting and i think this is gonna last few years but hunk has the same oold 5 spoke wheels....and xtreme has the first Step up seat/split seat for a hero bikeOriginally posted by jammbuster View PostHello,
