Check whether the chain is cleaned and lubed... and next time pay attention while giving your bike for servicing because they ask you in flow of conversation to add additive... watch out for it and say NO!!!
They have done inner chain cover painting and charged 100 for that. Now I'm sure i'll be happy only after 3 years so that i need not take the bike to svc for regular servicing because of warranty issues. More satisfaction is when it is repaired or serviced by my local mechanic infront of me...

Adding relay to ur Bike (if not having already )

Items requried : relay, almost 1 Mt lengthy thicker wire. soldering iron, tape, Fire extinguisher Kidding
Just connect the 2 wires attached to ur horn on pin no 85 and 86. Check now by pressing horn button, RELAY should CLICK. all goin well now.
now attach a thick wire (as relay will draw heavy current from battery) from +ve point (One shown in attached PIC) and put a 20/30 A fuse in between depending on ur relay.Connect another end of fuse to the PIN No. 30.
And finally connect one wire from PIN No. 87 to one terminal of HORN and connect another terminal on HORN to the battery Negative terminal (One shown in pic), Might be other point in bike as well (Body touching didnt work for me )

so finally its working now, even when indicators ON(earlier it used to give pathetic sound when Honked with Indicators ON). I hope u understand wat i m trying to say

    total cost : 60 (relay) + 14 (wire) + 10 Rs (20A fuse ) = 84 Bucks and that mechanic was asking 100 rs just for installation :X

Actualy stock settings are for low Amps for horn.If u add relay horn button sends a signal to Relay and hence relay further sends a heavier current to HORN (as its dirrectly connected to battery ). basically its used to match the increased Current load of accesories lights/horn etc.

u better do,btw they dont do GHAPLA on these things though
Saurabh, whats that relay's name or code? what shall i ask in the shop?

Its a local made relay, the shopkeeper was very confident about its quality though.i purchased it for just testing purpose . u can better opt for "BOSCH HORN RELAY " costing around 120-150 rs (same that Athul bought) HORN RELAY is what its called. feel free to ask if anything help required

Don't go for Teflon coating after this 3rd one is done bro. Just get a good wax polish and DIY. They are cheating us by telling that they do teflon coating but actually what they do is wax polishing. Even I've seen traces and scraps of polish wax after my bike was delivered from showroom. I bought one 2 weeks ago for Rs. 40. Its pidilite's [Robert's Liquid Polish] product and works fine.

I know bro. ther is a guy sitting beside their washin room. after washing his work is to put that polish coat on bike. he has a trunk full of waxes. just wanted to give it a try. I have a Formula-1 Wax.do it in 7-8 days after water wash. but liquid polish is required for fiber and few other parts.

Thanx aneesh.DIY was in testing phase today, will give it a clean job tomorrow. Will post a DIY thread thereafter . BTW i m using the stock horn, its not that Loud as urs but still its far better than what it used to be earlier.

I m using the SINGLE STOCK HORN :P

Also post a pic of the fuse and fuse box.

i will connect the 20/25 A fuse in between the battery and Pin No. 30.
wil have to make a JUGAAD fuse box one for that.

My next DIY is going to be on LED Flashers, found a LED FLASHER CIRCUIT,will give it a try soon.(if i get mentioned transistors )

                    • Enough try on this circuit, its supposed to generate a flashing signal (as required by Indicators) theoretically ,but somehow i am unable to do so.

                      may be the compenents i m using aren't of the requireed parameters ( R2:50K ohm,R1:5K ohm,C1 : 10 micro farad but 60 Volts )
also all the components are getting heated a lot, dont know why

can that be a problem ??
i was good at electronics but not now . i m getting a constant voltage O/P )~1.5-2.0 V) across that LED. its not BLINKING. somebody help as i am desperately trying to make this DIY happen

Hope its time for next oil change. Bike feels a bit rough and the oil is a bit sticky. Air-filter was not checked or cleaned at first service, i'm sure and its because of that there is a minor lag in acceleration, i think.

Guys, how many of you think the SVC people have opened bikes crank case and cleaned those filters and adjusted valve clearance etc...? For me they haven't.
