I think you have air leak after carburetor slide but before ventury..ie., between the throttle butterfly and inlet..check for cracks on the carb insulator, or the vacuum tubes.Originally posted by itssaurabh.negi View PostWhen Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

so it means no need to worry in changing to dual horns and when upgrading battery na?
exactly.. it would be great to see someone upgrading their stock battery.(to at-least 6Ah) so that i can also do the same and have 35W HID
@Aneesh : can u tell the dimension of few good 6/7 Ah batteries so that we can check for that much of space inside our ride ??sigpic

Not an expert when it comes to the carb's, but I strongly believe he's talking about the black tube, thats connected to the carb.Originally posted by itssaurabh.negi View Post

So finally, friends shall i move forward with fitting Dual Tone Horns on ma ride?
Each horn is 12V 2.5A (In total, it will be 5A i think.)
Battery as we know is 4A
Relay also included.
Only thing that worries me is the fact that the bike has no kick start
.
Need your advice before i do something...

Probably, i wish to do the same within one year. For HID's we need to change to DC setup. Both Battery upgrading and DC fitting done all at once would be good.Originally posted by itssaurabh.negi View Post

dont worry buddy.5amp it would consume only when pressed.keepin your horn pressed for 45 minutes will drain your battery to hell. It doesnot matter how much current its drawing.important is HOW LONG its being used.horn use momentarily power while HID uses full time current and hence higher are the chances of battery draining.i hope you are comfortable enough now.Go ahead.make sure you used a thick enough wire.Originally posted by Crank49 View PostSo finally, friends shall i move forward with fitting Dual Tone Horns on ma ride?

Thats the hardest job bro.Originally posted by itssaurabh.negi View Post@Aneesh : can u tell the dimension of few good 6/7 Ah batteries so that we can check for that much of space inside our ride ??
Even many including me had searched for high Ah batteries for ZMR and NEW ZMA-R 2011 version, and finally in one ZMA-R,we changed the whole battery cage to old one and fixed a 7Ah battery in it.Measure Amaron 5Ah MF battery and check whether it can be fixed or not.
Yes,the Part No. 11.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostNot an expert when it comes to the carb's, but I strongly believe he's talking about the black tube, thats connected to the carb.

No problem bro,Just remember one thing, when ever you feels that the battery charge is low,get it recharged and dont honk when the engine is off.Originally posted by Crank49 View PostSo finally, friends shall i move forward with fitting Dual Tone Horns on ma ride?

Warranty terms and conditions are just funny, they want us to buy those bikes but doesn't want us to have a little funOriginally posted by Aneesh@4GHz View PostThats the hardest job bro.

Yesterday i was on a long trip to chennai when the front brakes just jammed at the wrong moment....crashed the bike into this poor guy as the brakes failed so suddenly....i didnt even have the time to react....fortunately the guy wasnt hurt bad...after helping him i took the bike to the nearest HH SC.
The supervisor examined and told me the disk pads and the disk oil need to be changed and it will cost me like Rs600.I agreed after nearly 5 hrs of waiting they gave me a bill for Rs 1500
.They said the disc plates were not good...the pads wont last as it had line like markings on it....the disc plate alone cost me like Rs 1000.
I usually dont trust these SC mechs very much.....but i had no time to get a second opinion....so has the SC cheated me into changing the disk plates guys
