spray WD40 or apply 2T oil on the AFR screw , wait for 30 minutes to soak and then try GENTLY with a good flat blade screwdriver.Originally posted by ATHUL4R View PostMy engine is getting very hot with in 5min. hmm i tried to turn the screw but its very hard and not rotatingWhen Was The Last Time,You Did Something For The First Time.

Nice to see u back kali, hope u enjoying ur ride
. smooth means lesser vibrations (thats wat u get more in Apache/old pulsars,no offence here

thanks saurabh for the picture. so i need to turn clock wise. so turn to right. ok :-) thanks
I turned a full round clock wise. i feel a little power draw back. but not a problem for me. while crosing 55kmph make the engine sound different . I think its not a big problem right????Last edited by ATHUL4R; 11-15-2011, 11:21 PM.sigpic

Noticed engine oil leaking from the head off late. What could be the possible reason for it?
Bike was serviced 2 weeks back and the problem started after that. Showed it to the mech and castrol bike zone and he told me that the head 'o' ring or something needs to be changed. Is that corrent ?
Also, recently while going to office the bike stopped when I slowed down for taking a turn and refused to turn. When I tried using the kickrod, the play was smooth and the usual compression wasn't there . The kickrod was moving freely. Self start was fine but engine didn't start. Had to drag it for a while and then tried starting again and the bike started all by itself :| What could be the reason for the bike stalling all of a sudden ? All this while the noise of the engine has also changed when I slow down. Reminds me of the turbo effect in diesel cars
The mech was telling me that piston rings or bushed might have worn out but I'm not sure about it. Does anyone have an idea about these problems ??
Thanks.guys..if you ever need blood or want to donate blood, please refer to this site :

Do you ever notice that when you're driving, anyone going slower than you is an idiot and everyone driving faster than you is a maniac ?

Yes,a damaged O-Ring will cause oil leak, get the o ring replaced,it will cost you 9rs.Originally posted by kaka View PostNoticed engine oil leaking from the head off late.Showed it to the mech and castrol bike zone and he told me that the head 'o' ring or something needs to be changed. Check sparkplug,When did you cleaned the airfilter? Adulterated petrol or something? Also, recently while going to office the bike stopped when I slowed down for taking a turn and refused to turn. Also check engine oil level.

Welcome to the world of sticky valves...I had experienced it in my ZMA-R and had heard the same from few ZMA owners too...The bike if given some rest will start as though it never had such a problem, and will be like new without any trace of it...till it occurs again..Best to ignore and ride on, because the engine recovers fully without any ill effect except for the scary moment...I haven't faced any problem so far ...and done 1,000 Kms after the incident.Originally posted by kaka View PostAlso, recently while going to office the bike stopped when I slowed down for taking a turn and refused to turn.
