while i was returning from office, Angel ring went kaput. was working fine for 30-40 mins or so.Satyanaash ho iska. Chinese item mein yahi problem hai. Dont know what went wrong but i could feel a burning smell inside the ballast.i think ring is ok but ballast is gone,it was hot enough, may be its temp overshootOriginally posted by abhisheklalnediya View PostPhotos please
. it had small holes for air passing but of no use i guess. Moreover shopkeeper wont return it as he had already cleared that NO WARRANTY whatsoever. will have to buy a new ballast(if sold separately). it should cost near around 150-200 as complete set is of 300-350.
OT :indicator Buzzer installed by myself, working fine. Headlights are DC now.
. will use it carefully.
@ experts : can HID cause engine overheating or stressing.. it shouldnt but i felt like
.

What i feel, our fuel needle can go far below E mark, coz i easily recall when i took delivery of my bike, its needle was way below Last horizontal line of "E". just do one thing.empty ur whole tank if possible and put 1lt in it carrying 1-2 lt with u. then check how far can u go.its little offbeat but it wort itOriginally posted by Kalli12 View PostWas away for the week due to exams
Heres an update on my prob
Rode 82 kms in reserve then i got 200 rs/- petrol(2.72 ltr approx) and the bike ran an odd 20 kms and git reserve again but to my luck as soon as i was hitting reserve there was a petrol bunk nearby so i exactly got in 1 ltr of petrol and the bike ran for 46kmpl and then it hit reservesigpic

As per the broucher USABLE RESERVE = 1.5 Lt.Originally posted by Kalli12 View PostYea bro will surely try...but i strongly feel if the reserve capacity is just 1.5
But the point is if our reserve is 1.5 lt it should go atleast 60-70 after hitting reserve.sigpic

looking great, isnt it too wide ?? i doubt whether it would fit in or not. I guess these are used in Yamaha bikes FZ/R15. well i 'll change it whenever stock one is flattened. Cost ??Originally posted by Arjun_shetty View PostThats right bro.Even I'm planning to upgrade the rear tyre to something like 110/90 tubeless.Only pirelli sports demon is available in that size.nice tyre but costly...sigpic

My bike goes 80+ after hitting reserve the thing that troubles me is while refilling the petrol how many kms it should run after filling 2.7 ltrs after running 80+ kms in reserve

In that case you will be having 1.2 ltr above reserve and bike should run 63 kms before hitting the reserve again.Based on your data and considering 1.5 ltr usable reserve, mileage seems to be 53 kmpl.Originally posted by Kalli12 View PostMy bike goes 80+ after hitting reserve the thing that troubles me is while refilling the petrol how many kms it should run after filling 2.7 ltrs after running 80+ kms in reserve
