Thats right bro.Even I'm planning to upgrade the rear tyre to something like 110/90 tubeless.Only pirelli sports demon is available in that size.nice tyre but costly...

Yeah, but i dont think its a good off roading tire. Better get Sirac 100/90-18 or MRF Meteor or MRF Moto D.Sirac is TT,Not sure about MRF.

You are right aneesh.pirelli is not an off roader and its a soft compound at the same times.MRF meteor, moto d are also tube tyre.Only zapper Y and Mrf vyde are tubeless.I'm not sure about vyde whether its a 18" 120.But its available in 120 17".saw it on dazzler.
I like zapper Q,available in 110/90 18,but unfortunately tube type

Well in that case I suspect the petrol bunk, where you had filled the 2.7 ltr.
Do you ride regularly?how many kms/day?
I've observed several times that I get 50kmpl if I ride regularly or else my mileage used to drop below 40.say 1 or 2kms per day...may petrol evaporation is the case here...experts are you listening??

Exactly, my observation too after riding my new Hunk! If petrol evaporation was the problem, then we would have a still lower mileage. Coz then riding+evaporation would result in a lesser mileage!!

            This whole is very confusing!

1 or 2 kms per day means, more starts/stops between each mileage checks, which consumes more petrol? that could be reason?

Evaporation could also be attributed to this, which depends where you keep your bike often.

                  Hand shakes to that!
I'm doing the same on my Hunk. The only difference is that I ride upto a max. of 20kms in reserve and then go for Rs100/200 fuel fill!

                    • After having an aweful experience with CCFL Angel Eye, i have ordered LED type from Ebay. Costs 200 Rs. Hope this one doesnt disappoint once again. Meanwhile got an avg of >50 today.

Those facing reserve capacity issue, use your fuel completely after reserve (as below as it can go). Then only you will be able to calculate how much is ur reserve and how long it can go with that much of fuel.

                        • its 2700 on odo,
                          done 2nd service at 2000

                          now vibration is feeling greater.

today one of my firends who is having a hunk rode my cbz and said its having vibration and low power. he advised me to to adjust the cluth as clutch play is too high.

for 2 days(last ~200km), i am experiencing a wobbling effect on rear tyre.
i checked the alignment at 2 centers, they said no prob.
the second man said (feels mature) "Ah! its the prob with your tyre, its one of the worst tyre, try changing this one side tyre with normal both direction one or go n complain to the svc. this tyre grinds off in a bad pattern" and asked me to touch and feel the tyre

the prob worsen when i cross 70 for overtaking, but cornering is having no problem

What to do with the woobling effect.

Glad to hear that your bike's performing better.
A bike returning 42km/L and that easily takes to 90kmph - so your bike should be good on compression, right?

Even for my bike I feel the compression to be tad less when I kick it, when compared to a good Splendor.

When I told this to the guy at Castrol Bike Zone, he told "for these bikes it is like that only"

Though I don't believe him fully, I doubt if this is due to ATFT, I remember the Hunk/CBZ advertisement saying "no kick-back from the kicker" and all....!

Wobbling effect generally relates to bad shock absorbers, axle bearing shake etc, but these don't come into picture as your bike is just 2k on odo.

AFAIK, there is not point in chaning from "one side tyre" to "both direction" and all. These are tested tyres, how come they are bad in any day?

If a side of your tyre grinds-off, please check the following,
                              1) Chain tension adjustment marks on both sides of the swing arm(near to axle nut), if both sides are equally set.
                              2) wheel shake(shouldn't be the case as bike is new)
