Thanks for the info mate... I ll check for another few kms.. If the issue comes again then i ll have to go for the sprocket change.... Can't digest the fact that my sprockets got busted so early ... Quality is coming down these days

Do you mean both front and rear tyre are tubeless?

lol.... Went to a Hero moto showroom and asked the same question to salesperson. He said its not tubleless. When asked if it has tuff up tube, he was like.....what is that??? It has the normal tube which comes from the factory.
When I told him the difference between normal and tuff up tube, he was lost again.. and finally admitted that he doesn't know about that.

However, he has promised me a lot of goodies if I pay in full cash..
Like seat cover, parking cover, Engine guard, helmet, Key chain, grip cover.
Let me know if there is something missing from the list??

During running in economy will be low. So don't worry about economy now. Ride the bike smoothly till 1500 kms and you won't complain on economy later on .
Do a proper engine running in that's all you got to do.

its ok to get such mileage in first few hundred km's. max u can get is 55,and min is 35 which u r getting.. will increase by service and full at 2nd service if u dnt wana play with ur ride urself .dnt worry let ur ride settle for now, u will surely get >45kmpl after 2000 kms for sure

My local mechanic told me, it is not a major issue; this is happening cause of over tight tappet. Wait for 1000km done, it’ll OK by itself or after 1000 have to loose tappet manually little bit.
                    Any opinion guys?

Tuning is simple if you check the color of the sparkplug tip,if the sparkplug tip is dark,it indicates rich mixture,so we can tune it leaner by a half turn of afr screw and can check again,if its whitish color, its lean,we have to make it a bit rich,if its tan color, its the optimum setting. Hope you get this all.

Close the AFR screw, Now RPM will come down and start varying.
Open the AFR screw slowly till a point which the RPM stops varying, now bring the idle to 1.5K done. Now you're at the optimum setting.
Guys tried AFR setting all possible way... loose tappet and readjust. Changed fuel from the tank. Change the engine oil to 10w30 cause here weather temperature is 13/14C. But no luck...
Cold engine less problem, hot engine more problem.

Another problem is rise. The handle wobble higher that 50Km speed. it increased with the speed. it is fully visible when I hand off from the handle.

Anybody faced this problem? I've checked Tyres pressures, rear wheel alignment already.

I had this problem with my new pulsar once, changed all the things but couldn't find out the problem, later had to sell the bike.

                    • Hi Guys!
Sorry its been too long, had been out and office work was like
anyways...1500km on the ODO, speed limit <60km/hr returned a whooping mileage of 56kmpl : I had earlier stated mileage was an issue, believe me the petrol pump guys can really be high profile crooks, changed the pump and got the carb tuned.
Have started taking it up to 70km/hr on highways and I guess the mileage is somehere in 46-49kmpl, will be calculating the exact figure this wekeend.

Gear shifts: Changing gears at 4 rpm now.
RPM gauge: RPM stabilizes at 5 on 5th gear at the speed of 50
issues: The nut on the clutch handle bar comes out often (not a major thing but kind of wierd)
                      rest all is fine.
All of you have a happy Thrusday!

                            • oil for my CBZ-X after 2500kms

I'm looking for a good mineral oil for my CBZ-X which has completed 2500km mark. Could you please recommend me which is the oil should I go for.
                              1. Shell Advance AX5 10w30
                              2. Shell Advance AX5 20w40
                              3. Motul 3000 4t plus 10w30
What is the diff between 10w30 and 20w40 oils?? HH recommends 10w30, but Honda recommends 20w40. Is there any harm using 20w40 in my CBZ-X?

Thanks buddy. Btw haven't decided yet. Had booked unicorm 1 month ago but the wait is killing me. So deciding on either dazzler or xtreme. Will let you know once final.
