    aside do u feel a LAG/Delay between your throttle and engine response.
    dont get irritated by the sound itself (once i had the same feeling).i think u feeling vibrations on your handle bar if i'm not wrong. try using a rubber grip instead and u will definitely notice the change(same as me feeling from 2 days). Engine sound itself shouldn't make u worry dear.
    btw why not go to svc and get it checked ??

              You are right sourabh.I'm using sponge type handle grip and feels less vibration.

              I think engine sound and harshness is quite common in new bikes.sometimes I feel like my bike is running without engine oil.,when engine gets heated up.

                    How such damage,is it switch or its wiring damaged ? so for now u cant see neutral light flashing right ? but u must have been accustomed of ur ride , aren't you ? finding neutral shouldnt be a problem now IMO.

                    And yes after engine heating up....the sound gets unbearable currently on HH 10w30

                    I never liked 10W30 ,it just help in cold starts (that too marginally i guess ) other than that ....

                    • any one here experiencing a prob to shift from 5th to 1 st suddenly

                      i have to wait a little abt 500 ms on 2nd to shift through 5 to 1 in a single stretch.

                      no prob while i am riding clam in 3rd or even 5th and shifting gradually.

                      or may be i am applying shift before completely releasing the liver of previous shift in such a quick shift.

                        be sure you are lucky..coz you hav got a very finely set gear box. In my 10 months of ownership, I ve never been able to shift all at once from 5 to 1. It just gets stuck somewer. No matter whether I m still or riding. Sometimes takes 8-9 taps to finally reach gear 1..:P

                        • ya, its not a big problem, but today abt an hour ago, while i was overtaking a car, i need to suddenly slow down under 10kmph, an i was unable to get to 1st and then i need to stop it and shift to first.

                            ya buddy, i too feel that u cant downshift from 5th to 1 in one go.at some point gear feels like its free and u cant move it further,u have to release the clutch and try again . i think we'll have to get used to it

I'm getting a mileage of 50+ on mixed riding conditions and the ride quality is perfect. Its just that it didnt suit me somehow.. If anyone have some suggestions for me, then please feel free to help me.
                              I have absolute sympathy for your feeling and I myself hate that hot & harsh feeling from an engine , when raising the throttle doesn't seem to translate to pick-up anymore . I have to ride to my native village about 80kms away a few times a month and I look with great anticipation towards these weekend/holiday rides as a rare escape from the city traffic and commuting I have to do daily . Don't want it to be spoiled by a noisy unresponsive bike . But .. but .. I would say that you just need to be pateint & run it in a little more for the cbzx to wear in until around 10000 kms it would still be getting smoother and cooler everyday . This will be aided by 1500-2000 kms oil changes well until after 10k kms too . Use 20w40 motul . This has been my own experience . Have the cold rpm tuned a bit lower , around 1000 . Postpone the decision until 10k kms .

                              Those thick rubber/foam grips are positively dangerous when wet . I yanked mine off ryt on a rainy day ride many many years ago and never fitted any other grip over the OE ones ever since .

                                Never shift like that. It'll cause more harm than good.

                                To shift down from 5~1, From 5. clutch 4 declutch, clutch 3 declutch, clutch 2 declutch. clutch 1 declutch. And remember with every clutch you should match the revs by blipping the throttle to avoid wheel locks. Actually the above mentioned process takes only 2secs so no worries.
