hey guys.. planning to sell my cbz xtreme after doing just 4300 kms on it.
so sad to know this.

In the morning the bike idles at 1200 rpm, the bike feels really smooth and the pick up feels just awesome.. but after riding for around 40 kms it starts getting harsh and all the fun goes away.
Can u tell what RPM does it have after 10-15 km riding ? does it overshoot/oscillate over and around 1.5/2K mark.RPM at hot should be around 1500.

aside do u feel a LAG/Delay between your throttle and engine response.

Update the mileage after using 20w40 please. My xtreme mileage was as low as 38 when i was using castrol 20w40.now back to normal of 50kmpl after switching back to oem 10w30.

dont get irritated by the sound itself (once i had the same feeling).i think u feeling vibrations on your handle bar if i'm not wrong. try using a rubber grip instead and u will definitely notice the change(same as me feeling from 2 days). Engine sound itself shouldn't make u worry dear.
btw why not go to svc and get it checked ??

You are right saurabh.I'm using sponge type handle grip and feels less vibration.

Ya,earlier i felt so much of vibration but now its like smooooooth.

I think engine sound and harshness is quite common in new bikes.sometimes I feel like my bike is running without engine oil.,when engine gets heated up.

Neutral switch is damaged itseems they say its 50 rs/- but no stock anywhere...does neutral switch differ from bikes to bike or same for all bikes?
How such damage,is it switch or its wiring damaged ? so for now u cant see neutral light flashing right ? but u must have been accustomed of ur ride , aren't you ? finding neutral shouldnt be a problem now IMO.

And yes after engine heating up....the sound gets unbearable currently on HH 10w30

be sure you are lucky..coz you hav got a very finely set gear box. In my 10 months of ownership, I ve never been able to shift all at once from 5 to 1. It just gets stuck somewer. No matter whether I m still or riding. Sometimes takes 8-9 taps to finally reach gear 1..:P

I ride my bike for around 100kms everyday so after heating up the engine i dont feel like driving the bike. Have tried all the alternatives like tuned carb, used 20w40 engine oil, and used 20w50 too once hoping if it could cool the engine but it worsened the matter further..drained after using for 1000kms. If only it had a liquid cooling, the matters would have been a lot better. But sadly, due to the absense of it, dont wanna own this bike. But please dont misunderstand me in anyway, i wouldn't recommend anyone for not buying this bike because this bike is excellent in all other ways. I'm getting a mileage of 50+ on mixed riding conditions and the ride quality is perfect. Its just that it didnt suit me somehow.. If anyone have some suggestions for me, then please feel free to help me.

ya, its not a big problem, but today abt an hour ago, while i was overtaking a car, i need to suddenly slow down under 10kmph, an i was unable to get to 1st and then i need to stop it and shift to first.

any one here experiencing a prob to shift from 5th to 1 st suddenly

i have to wait a little abt 500 ms on 2nd to shift through 5 to 1 in a single stretch.

no prob while i am riding clam in 3rd or even 5th and shifting gradually.

or may be i am applying shift before completely releasing the liver of previous shift in such a quick shift.
