    A noob question.
    Is angel eyes different from xenon lights or HIDs. I bought my bike on 11.11.11 I know it will void my warranty but just the battery and circuit warranty right?

    Can anyone give the cost for applying angel eyes with fixing charges?

        nope its fine , its more than six months now since i fixed the projectors and i didnt have any problem till now its looks burned because that picture was taken as soon as i fixed it and the reflector was dirty

          Hi guys,

          I shifted to shell 20w40 mineral oil at 7800km. I am in chennai. The mornings are very cold and I am suffering from cold starts. I have use choke and then have to give mild throttle for almost 3-5 minutes to keep the engine running hot. I felt that the 20w40 oil might be the culprit. I have shifted to shell 10w40 SS oil today. Lets see what it can do.

              you can fix just the angel eyes , angel eyes may come up to somewhere around 500rs and fixing charges depends from shop to shop . Butopening up the entire headlight just for angel eyes is not worth .

                Yes,Angel eyes are available from 350rs for a pair,and fitting charges starts from 300rs and more,Its not 300+ rs worth mod.

                        It is common in FE engines.....try using the NGK "G" power plug,which gives good cold start,and no need to run 3-5 minutes in choke, just 20 seconds is all that is required and also gives better FE.

                          10W30 means 10~30Degress, and hence 20W40 means 20~40Degrees. So since you're temps between 10 and 30 Degress its best you use 10W30 Oil.

                            2.4k on odo and thinking of 5th oil change before going for the 1st long ride of 350km in my new xtreme.Should i go for shell AX5 20W40 mineral or stick with 10w30 oem?
                            What could be the safe cruising speed for my 2.4k old xtreme during long ride?
                            Please share your valuable suggestions friends.

                              Stick with the stock. Until atleast 5k.
                              Cruising can be anywhere from 60 to 80-85 kmph. More than that CONTINUOUS for a long time may harm ur engine. But shooting upto 100 once in a while is all fine.

                                for such long ride i would prefer 20W40 before starting.as your oil is already old and u will fell high temp in between ur long ride. Shell is a good choice IMO,i have used it and i loved it.
