2400Km on ODO.... Ok 90Kmph cruising for 100-150KM is no problem at all.

About engine Oil, for long ride, 20W50 will give much better engine comfort than 10W30. For low temp climate use 10W40.

With the 10w40 oil, it seems a lot better now. I could also feel some extra smoothness. Maybe the SS oil is doing something

Also. Do I have to change spark plug???

          • Guys which one is inlet and which one is exhaust valve on hunk? I mean is exhaust valve location on front wheel side and Inlet valve with rear wheel side?

Valve on the carb side is the intake and the one on the exhaust side is the exhaust valve.

After tried two times to valve clearance adjust; my local mechanic failed to adjust optimal position. So I've bought feeler gauge, and going to do it proper way this time.

Just open the link in my Signature and go through the procedure before embarking on Valve clearance setting...

                          • Changed the engine oil today.motul 3000 4t 20w40 for 260 bucks.Old oil was just 600km old but it was black and watery.
Hope that 20w40 doesnt affect my mileage...will update about the oil performance after driving few hundred kms.

Stock HH oil sucks big time... You can feel the smoothness only for 500kms or so... After that engine becomes rough and also heats up a lot... I used shell 20w40.. When I drained it to shift to 10w40(as I was having some cold start issues because of colder climate here in chennai) after 1000km, the oil was damn good and even the mech told me that it can easily do another 1000km... Also the roughness and engine heating vanishes
