I replaced around 680 KMS in the ODO during the first service. Even though we cannot trust SC in this, since it is the first service, I think they would be replacing compulsorily or else they will be caught if any issues in the engine as part of warranty

Rear Suspension!!!!

Hello friends i wanted to know if the rear suspension needs maintenance like the front ones where we change fork oil from time to time. If yes let me know what sort of care we have to take.I have a 3.5 yrs , 430000 kms Hunk ,i see some oil & mud near the rear shock absorber hence thought of posting this query.

No regular maintenance like front fork oil changes needed for it . i.e keep clean and lube the mounts ( inside swing-arm bush area & the in the top lugs ) with EP90/SAE90 gear oil a bit . Replace if not dampening or recovering correctly or both are not even . Repairs on rear shocks never gave me satisfactory results .. so now I don't bother .. just replace if necessary .

NExt is going to change the spark bulb. planning to use white led(28 led in a single park bulb size. i think its price is 300rs i am planning to go for it.

if your are changing oil in HH SVC tell them that change oil infront of you if they refuse. then after service open the oil cap and check the oil. it its sticky then they cheated you (they only some time top up instead of changing)

Mansoon magic.

Due to rain and moisture,i've observed rusting of some nuts and most of the welding spots on chasis.This really made me to worry about it.planning get WD-40 and spray it on rusted parts soon.

Anyone out here facing such problem?

screwdriver ?? what are u trying to pull actually ?? sparkplug ?? there is a tool specially for sparkplug removal inside ur tool kit.

in order to check whether u r running rich or lean we need to c ur sparkplug

I am also planning to fit an led strip on engine side too. many friends like my lighting and ask me where to get that colour and how much it cost

I use screw driver for carb tuning (clock wise) to make it a little leaner.

One of the local HH SVC guy told me that the CBZ will deliver only 45KMPL so there is no need to tune it. :-(

Huh.... dont trust them,maybe he is talking for Optimum AFR ratio .
Aside i have changed the position for my lights too , will upload pics in evening,and why doesnt my digicam (Kodak easy share 8MP ) take clear pics ?

your lighting inspired me to put green led.
no milage is same coz i failed to turn the screw. i even cant open body star type silver screw to clean my airfilter.

Why was that? u can open it with a Knofe too (dnt try )

m glad that my wrk could INSIPIRE somone. are all these parking light dependent ?? how much did it all cost ?? i would suggest u to add 2 strips on both sides for BRAKE LIGHTS.
And top of all get a good BIT SET.
btw i did some changes to my lighting and finally came to this :

@ saurabh how u fitted that led on the fron wheel. please post 2 images. 1st the position of the led, then the wires going from there please. if possible post it today.

I heard that there is some led especially for alloy etcc it totate with the tyre when runing. hav any idea?
