We cant see inside the tank. So no tongs will work. I filled tank full hoping that cloth might come up to the filling hole, but no...it doesnt. lets see wht happens.

          Update of Motul 5w40:
Gear slick is very slick and needs just a touch. Way better than HH oil. Engine smoothness is consistent along all the rev bands. And slight reduction in vibes at footpegs. Got this oil for 650/- as it was old stock. New stock woild be 715/- itseems.

For me it was a major reduction in the footpeg vibrations esp. the pillion.

              • Guys the svc people told me that the tappet and valve noise may appear over and over again and there is no solution to it but to take it to the svc center to get it corrected .They are not giving any guarantee of it. On the other hand ,I have a local mechanic near my home who said that the svc guys did not do the tappet setting correctly which is resulting in tappet noise again and again . He says it is a one time adjustment and if adjusted properly the tappet noise will not appear again for a long time. I see many hunks extremes as well as pulsars which he works on. I can be there and see the way he is doing it if i give him the bike to finish the work. But i am confused what to do . This time the tappet noise appeared just 350kms/10 days after my 4th service. So early after a service..

Tappet noise and valve noise not a big deal. But it just bothers to rider. When you adjust the tappet and valve; y our engine should be cool. If these are adjust properly when engine is cool then it shouldn’t be appear soon. But it can appear within a day if you push the engine extremely like sudden pickup, racing mode etc.

                      • ^^^ Afraid not. Its not just about the irritation factor caused by noise. Performance and engine life can deteriorate also. The settings should *not* go for a toss in a day or anywhere close to it... IF adjusted properly. The problem is caused by shabby mechanics, period.

But I am always puzzled why Hunk costs less than Xtreme!!!

The GRS on Hunk cost 1800 where as similar one on pulsar's nitrox cost just 1200 .
