      • Bike not starting..

Guys.. My Hunk is not starting. just 4 days and 60 kms old.

A friend of mine came home to see the bike (while I was away), tried starting the bike, but couldnt even after reapeated attempts. When I reached home in the late evening, engine is not even cranking. Battery and all other electricals are working fine. When the starter switch is pressed, some 'trrrrr' kinda sound is heard, like a realay being activated and deactivated continuously. The starter motor is not firing.

Witnesses (my sis) say that initially when he (my friend) tried, engine was cranking as usual, but didnt start bcoz he was not doing it right, + engine was cold. But after some attempts, it stopped cranking, and came to the present condition.

I suspect a blown fuse. Would that be the case..? Or something serous..?

Heck..!! those dumbheads at HH eliminated the kicker, and now, my bike is not starting..

Guys.. I m freaking out with desperation. I believe you understand how it feels..

              Thanx for replies men..

Today, things are different. No electrical thingie is working. Head light, self start, indicator nothing. Horn is not even sounding at all. And sometimes even display is not coming on. So I think is should be something wrong with the battery. Didnt try push starting as I dont want the bike to stall in the middle of a busy street and cause a havoc there.

Called up the showroom guy. Said he will send someone tomorrow. (Sunday holiday. Bloody buggers. )

But guys, how can a battery go kaput like this..? Not even a week old. Is this the world renowned Hero Honda 'reliability'..?
And at the time of delivery, this same showroom guy said "Sir, we removed the kicker as its not necessary, because we have used new maintenance-free battery. Nothing will go wrong."

              • try shooting mail to higher authority nd try to talk to regional manager. give them strict voice. tell them about your problem in detail. plzz do tell us back what happened....and regarding the battery..bad luck bro.

In my second day the choke cable was not working. My GRS shock absorber started leaking within 5 days. Still the part is yet to come. SO, "RELIABILTY".. don know what is what but in this country really sick of all this.

                      • Hi
i own a CBZ xtreme for around 2 years and done around 11k kms.

i like my bike because of the comfort and feel of hooliganism

but in these 2 years the bike had the following repairs

                        1. had to change head gasket thrice because of oil leak.
                        2. got the air injector changed due to some weird noise it was causing.
                        3. got the piston rings changed because of white smoke coming from the exhaust(it was burning oil).

i'm not too upset though because i had to pay only for the first one and the rest were done under warranty.
First think you are special then work towards proving it.
