  • Got it repaired locally then took it to HH SVC, the SVC ppl said they cant come there as many of the mechanics were on leave. Had to drag it 3 kms finally got it fixed. Mechanic took Rs. 30 and new cable for Rs. 200
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

    • Review of Shell Advance Ultra 4T 10w40

      Guys,

I have posted the review of Shell Advance Ultra 10W40 fully synthetic oil in the engine oil thread, post number 3005.

Mods: I am just providing a reference to my post as I believe that this oil is more likely to be used by Hunk/ CBZ-X owners. Please do let me know if providing a reference to my post is not allowed.

        • The all new 2010 Upgraded HH Hunk drive report

Got the new HH Hunk for my elder brother, same as mine color, sports red. Mine is 2008 HUNK.

Overall the newer Hunk is great, good increase in performance. Slightly changed in the visor design shape. New color combination is nice, most of it is mat black. New slick graphic are good. New Digital meter is outstanding. LED tail lamp is also good one. Tubeless tires added newly.

But few thing disappoint me at the 1st ride. Drove it almost throughout the day from bringing it the showroom onwards. The weight of the bike was supposed to be very low which is not good though for a comfortable ride but good for performance. The dashboard illumination so bright and colorful that it made me very bothering through the journey. Soft & low light dashboard illumination is always best for a safely ride. Next the digi console also disappoint me. While accelerate the speed increment is perfect, but while slowing down the decreasing was very slow and mismatching. Even while at full stop many time its was still showing few kilometers. Kilometer indication digits were so small that it hard to identify quickly.

Ultimately I would rate the Mono console 1st, very user-friendly.
Speed is a joy but roads are not race track. Keep speed in your limit and always Drive safe...

Thanks for the mini review! Is there any increase in the power figures?
Also the speedo issue you are facing is a refresh error, it is even more in Bajaj bikes!

Would you recommend Unicorn DAZZLER over the new HUNK ?

Thanks you guys. Yea it should deliver slight increase in Power as it has Tubeless Tires which is much less weight than regular tire. And also I said that I felt less weight. So in that respect if the power delivery is same as the previous model then the output power should increase.

All bikes are good at its purpose, and Honda should be comment less. Definitely its good. But I haven’t drove it so far. My one friend bought that bike and as per him over all the bike is good but the engine smoothness is very marginally less than the original Unicorn. Look and feel wise the bike is good as a new comer. But the seat design of Hunk is very conceptual, the best seat and seating position I’ve ever found in Indian street bike segment is Hunk. The seat design of Hunk was taken from Honda VFR1200F and all upcoming Honda bikes are following that design. You would get better support in back and also the pillion rider can see all throughout the road.

The most disappointing thing I’ve got in Unicorn or Unicorn DAZZLER is the Footpeg position. Its fitted towards the front end like the oldies bike. So you definitely you will get a comfortable stretched leg cruse ride but you wont ever get the sporty feeling like Hunk or other.

So 1 would rate Hunk more than DAZZLER.

                  • Hunk is no doubt a really good bike but myself and my brother bought 2 P220F's last month. So, my less than 1 year old, sparingly used Hunk's for sale Anyone interested? I have posted on the xBhp Sell/Buy section as well.

                    • Hi Guys,

I got my delivery of the new Hunk (Ebony Grey) today here in chennai...

70k onroad chennai... Southern auto centre is delivering the bike quickly...

The new hunk with digital console, LED tails and tubless tyres makes it more cooler... Gear shifts are on the harder side.. Hope it will get smoother as services and km start progressing... Got a very comfortable riding position... I dont feel it heavy (as i had the heaviest GS150R (in 150cc segment) initially)...

Will post the pics and riding experience very soon
