  • Hi guys,

My Hunk has done 260km on the ODO.. Yet to complete my first service.

I have got a quick query here...

At times, when I shift the gear (up or down), i could not feel the shift (i assume that the gear has not shifted)..So I would just release the clutch and give throttle... Then the bike gives a strained sound and then a thud sound comes as if the gear has shifted now by itself..

I am not sure why this is happening.. Do i have to meet the HH service guys or will it get fine after the first service?

        • i have some important questions to all the hunk owners....please help me out.

does it vibrate above 6.5k rpm? many reviews say so and even i found it too. where as cbz x doesnt vibrate till 8k rpm despite being the same engine setup.. why is it so??? hunk owners please clear out my confusion

Many people say that hunk struggles after 80kmph.....where as cbz x is very fast till 100kmph. why is it so??? is it true? i didnt have the chance to drive hunk over 80kmph.

guys please help me out....1of my friend is going for a bike either hunk or dazzler....as i'm a cbz x owner so i'm littlebit biased towards hunk.

so please clarify the above mentioned criterias plzzzz plzzzz plzzzz

                • @Naveen,

Even I face 1st two problems of squeaky sounds from disc brake and rear suspension but the SVC People say its coz of the riding?

Damn fools they do something and its fixed then after a month from service it starts again.

So I left it. BTW I have the HUNK Ltd. Edn.
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

@ naveenmm19 you want all xbhpian to get this problem done? LOl..

                    @ naveenmm19 & HH_HUNK

As it is 2010 CBZ so definitely its new and its feasible to the Disc brake makes a squeaky sound.

Disc brake squeaky sound : 1st clean the disc brake and the rotor with high force water, clean all mud or dirt deposit. Then ride, if it still making same noise then go to service center or any mechanic. Ask him to disassemble the disc brake pads and sand the pad surface the reinstall. The squeaky sound should be disappear right then.

Rear shock makes some weird sound : as its CBZ so it don’t have the GRS. Hunk rear shock usually make a pis pis noise while the GRS release air at the impact. But in CBZ it may be dirt or the shock inner plastic pipe scratching through the shock coil/spring so why its producing noise. Take a closer look and see any scratch marks on the inside black plastic pipe. If you get it, rotate the coil/spring and make a free space in-between those. If possible wet a cloth in oil and apply slight into the inner black pipe.

                    Study turned on tail light:
there have a brake light switch behind the right foot peg assembly. It require tuning. If get it, tune it anti-clock wise and set it to play with the foot brake lever application. Best 1st go through the manual book for the switch tuning process.
Speed is a joy but roads are not race track. Keep speed in your limit and always Drive safe...

                    • Can any Hunk owner confirm whether the warranty is for 2 years or 3 years?

Hunk website at one place mentions 3 years or 30000 Kms and at another place mentions 2 years or 30000 Kms.

Click on the service link on this page which is for the new Hunk.It mentions 2 years/30000 Kms .

But if you check out the style link it mentions 3 years / 30000 Kms in the end.

                            • New HH Hunk is even much more comfortable and can even say best bike in 150cc segament. Kick-start option is removed. However front & rear disc brakes, tubeless tyres, analog tachometer and digital speedometer are fabulous . Love them a lot. Average may very from older version.. Anyways it's just 1117 km done and speedometer circuit is went off . It will be replaced within 15 days as they having shortage with spare parts of new HHH version .

The speedo looks neat and fresh but the reading seems to be small
