    • Light problem with my HH Hunk

I have bought the bike on august 2010 done 7k.
but while travelling in night, the lower light is not that powerful,so mostly ride by guessing the road.my friends got hunk and CBZ both have same problem too but the performance of engine is good but engine is not poweful as Pulsar, tested in uphill.handling and riding comfort is excellent.

Just wish like the new hunk old Hunk get some boost in Light.

new hunk use 12v 4ah maintanence free battery while old hunk use 12v 7ah battery.I should get more light but its the opposite.

New hunk changes all light to LED.

So far as I know, the Osram Night Breaker comes in 55/60 format. Since your bike runs the Headlight on AC, you can't get the full illumination, rather it would be worse than your stock 35/35 Halogen bulb.
I have used Phelips 55/60 bulb on my Hunk, the illumination was quite poor. Then I returned to 35/35 bulb of Bajaj Pulsar 200. The performence of the bulb was quite good.

So, you are having two option: 1. you can move to Bajaj Pulsar 200 35/35 Original bulb (Cost 284). OR 2. A good quality HID, preferabely 4300K.

Yes, that would be a direct fit.
        Hi Bappaditya,

I have checked the lamp, its written 12v HS1 35/35, but pulsar is H4.So will H4 fit into HS1.

I was only aware of Osram Nightbreaker in 12V 60/55 H4 format.
H4 and HS1 is having small differences, go through the post....http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/help-me/...tml#post383226

As semi synthetic oil is good for run in period,You can use Gulf Pride Plus 20W40 .
                  Thanks pal.
It's recommended by HH to use SAE 10w30 SJ grade oil.
Can u suggest me some good brands that have the grade and their respective price, pls.

                  Regards.

You know,HH 4T Plus oil is very thin,It feels like water,Even old karizma's engine oil recommendation was 20w40,But now svc uses 10w30 in all karizma,I am going to change my karizma's oil to 20w40.Use 20w40 in your cbz xtreme,it will be better than the HH Oem Oil.

I have used this machine for more than one year, and except the "light" issue, I did not faced any issues you have mentioned. 14Bhp was never enough, but sufficient for touring, commuting, uphill riding etc. I have upgraded to HH Karizma, but still missing the comfort and smoothness of Hunk.

New Hunk is coming with 4amp battery? I did not know that. However, the battery and the charging, both are important. If you have a big battery with very small amp charging - there is of no use, but if you have small battery with atleast 10 - 12amp charging - its a big deal.

Iridium spark plugs are of different heat range even NGK doesn't recommend it for xtreme.

                            Thanks once again.

                            OK. I'll be using Pride 4T 20w40.
Though for ur information mine is HH Hunk the new double disc one not cbz x.
But same is recommended for cbz x also, i guess.

                            Regards.
