Man..! Are you kidding or what..?
    Problem with piston rings..?

That smoke had the distinctive smell of burning engine oil. Thats what worries me.
Anyway, checked th e oil level. Its fine. And the smoke never appeared again.

The meter works even without starting the engine. Thats not the problem. It shows faulty reading when the engine IS running.

White smokes appears because the oil is able to get into the top of the piston, that's why you get a distinctive oil smell! Go and check it @ SVC.

          • I changed my piston rings recently because of white smoke coming from exhaust but it used to come only at startup(even if the engine it hot) for a few secs and then normal

                    • Visited SVC today.

Regarding white smoke, he said "yea, its due to oil burning. If it appears again, we shall see to it"
For the fuel guage, he said its normal for it to act wild and the meter is not really accurate. Observe for some days, and if its totally wild, he shall look into it during first service.

Today I put in fuel worth Rs 400. So there is almost half a tank (7.5L + 1L remaining) in the tank, and the meter shows almost full.

normal for it to act wild?????? I don't think so...They are not 100% accurate, but they an show approximate values.I think its a meter problem or some problem with the sensor.
