I think you misread my query[emoji28]. I wanted to know about the suspension oil hero uses.

Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
I have used motul 20w without knowing the grade. Fork dives less than stock 10w setting and i didn't like it. Front part of bike feels jumpy on uneven roads and was not comfortable at all.Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostI think Honda might be using the same weight. Would 20w make the front suspension too stiff? Currently it's too soft and dives a lot.

Need Help Forn Front Brake Of Hero Honda Hunk
Hello Guys,
I've recently changed the front brake's master cylinder of my Hunk. Now braking is working but it's too stiff/hard. I did not bleed out brake fluid after changing the master cylinder. Now i want to know that how may i get the original braking feeling on my hunk? Shall i do a brake fluid bleeding job? Will it work? Please suggest me.
Thank You

Bleed the brakes and see if it helps.. Else you may need to clean the calliper thoroughly. Make sure there isn't any leaksOriginally posted by faisal3dfx View PostHello Guys,

I think there is one available in zma R thread. During cleaning replace the oil seals and rubber boots and for leaks check visually the brake lines and connecting bolts on master cylinder assembly and calliper.Originally posted by faisal3dfx View PostThanks a lot for your kind reply. I was adjusting tappets on my xtreme. It was at .06 inlet and .10 outlet and bike's rpm was fluctuating slightly during idling. so set .07 at inlet and .10 at outlet. Now rpm is steady and bike is more rev friendlyLast edited by Jith_in; 07-23-2016, 09:02 PM.Off the BOTTLE & On the THROTTLE

Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk
Guys,
There is a not so good update about my bike. I sold my Hunk!
I had posted few months back that I moved to a new job in Trivandrum (Kerala) and I had brought my bike here with NOC from Tamilnadu RTO.
I faced some problem in registering the bike here in Kerala due to some formalities of the RTO here. I didn't feel good riding TN registered bike here for so long. So sold it to a friend from TN.
She was in great condition, hope the bike is in safe hands!
Here's a pic taken few days back before I let her go!
Having used the Hunk for around 4.5 years, I would like to mention the goods and bad of the bike.
Pluses:
Excellent acceleration in mid range.
Engine refinement
Ride quality and ergonomics
Spare parts' availability and price
Robust electricals
Overall Reliability
Minuses:
Mileage - neither great nor bad (Get around 40 most of the times)
Plastic panels break near the screw holes
Longevity of engine is less when compared to other Hero bikes
Now, which bike next?
Infact, I didn't have any plans to buy a new/used bike when I sold her.
I was commuting to work in office cab and had bought a new Figo recently.
So I was living the bike-less life for a month or so, but here comes a surprise message from my college mate.
He is having a bike from the very own Hero family that is not used much (Has run only 3k kms infact). And, he wants to know if I'm interested in the bike.
This model had lots of fans in its heydays, and is still having I believe.
I am a big fan of this bike from my college days.
I didn't want to leave the opportunity of owning one.
And finally I bought the bike.
Guys, any guesses?

Sad to hear that. Sometimes selling a bike is painful.
When I told that since extreme is approaching 1 lacs kilometres I will have to sell it. As buying another bike keeping extreme and Joy will neglect them. Since can't sell joy so thinking of selling extreme.
Mom was extremely sad and told not to sell.
Is it karizma.
