Good to hear and the quality has certainly come down now.

But anyway I'm on the look out for a scooter too and set my mind on activa 125, but trust me, it's not worth the price. It costs just 7k lesser than a vespa in my city. I might as well get a fully loaded access or a hero duet.

Your garage is now full yamaha so congrats!

    Hi,

A lot of misinformed folks who assume that everything they see/read on the internet is true and apply no basic common sense to understand what it really is.
So now you are now putting me in that bracket ? Cause per you I have not applied the basic logic and have not understood anything, Fine, cool and thanks a lot for the same !

Again read properly what I said.
This is what you have said

    Don't spread such false information.
Anyways I will not bother to post any further on this matter, post anything and everything you want and call me any number of names I will not bother !

    Regards.

I never said that you claimed anything. What is said is try not to spread information that you cannot backup with concrete proof. The internet is filled up with various claims and discussions and not everything is true.. doesn't matter whatever bhp it is in this case. A lot of misinformed folks who assume that everything they see/read on the internet is true and apply no basic common sense to understand what it really is. If you want to know how long the oil takes to reach the head, then remove the head cover and thumb the starter and let me know what you see.
Again read properly what I said.

The oil does not take 2 minutes to reach the head. It hardly takes a few seconds!
1 minute idle is sufficient, and thereafter ride the first km or so sedately. Idling for 2-3 min, you are only wasting fuel (unless you are riding in very cold/freezing temperatures, an idle of 1 min is sufficient.)

Guess its all cleared up,one more little thing to remember is if you use the choke during kick start, don't forget to push it back in,activa wont accelerate past 40kmph if the choke is on and its not good for the engine.

Also about the kick start,Its also a very very good practice and will not strain the battery on a cold start.

I do both myself and recommend it !

    Regards.

Yes, what you stated is a good practice. You can safely follow this routine on the activa too.
