Well the power it produces and its performance levels do justify the high price.Originally posted by sudeepmirza View PostGosh!
90K for 125 CC bike?
Are you kiddin?...
Well i dont think so. Do you have any link to support you post??Originally posted by chasejp View PostDont worry. They are releasing a new premium 125 cc bike which is famously called R125. The cost may be around 90,000. Looks like R-15 with delta box frame.. liquid cooled engine.. etc..
The R125 is not going to be launched in the near future IMO.Originally posted by sriram_r View PostFrom where did you get the info about R125 to be launched in India. Could you reconfirm this, as i was told clearly that it may not be released in Indian markets, as already R15 was made specially for the Indian market.Last edited by madhav krishna; 03-30-2011, 08:16 PM.NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

The problem is not yet fixed. The mechs at the local garage are unable to figure out. Wasnt able to go to the SC due to exams and the SC's busy schedule (appropriate word would be their incapability to handle a few bikes at a time). Now am busy in my cet classes so am waiting for some free time for now. The problem is very weird. Recently when i went to get my helmet the sound got disappeared but now again it is starting to reappear.Originally posted by sriram_r View PostHi Madhav,
Could you please re-confirm the issue you were facing earlier, the knocking sound when released throttle on descending mode... let me know what had happened and how the problem was fixed...
Add to that cold start problems. I seriously think that my AFR settings have been screwed up

the end result of your problem,
is it
1. lack of absolute pick up as per gladiator standards?
2. Engine is coarse ??
3. Not as expected top end....
4. Ride not as smooth
Sometime back Night pitched in & asked you to take a look at the cable that supplies current to the Splug >>
How much has the engine clocked till now??

The pickup seems fine. But there are a few hiccups though. The 2 & 4 points are the problems faced by me.Originally posted by sriram_r View Postthe end result of your problem,

My bike has clocked a lil less than 12k kms. Night was talking about Iridium spark plugs but am now using the stock spark plugs only.NOT BEEN THERE NOT DONE THAT

Engine bearing.. Is it the curved plate one or the one which comes with ball bearings ..
Is the problem a trivial one, or is it a surprise.. mechanical parts do fail i agree ..
how could such a problem crop up even the bike is maintained properly.. pretty strange.. waiting for your comments after the job is done

I cant say anything about the prob as of now. The prob do arise sometime due to bad luck. Was planning to show it at the SC but due to bad luck met with an accident (a minor one though). So now the plan has been postponed.Originally posted by sriram_r View PostEngine bearing.. Is it the curved plate one or the one which comes with ball bearings ..

Brothers, I am from Bangladesh and I do own a Gladiator.
It is 2 months old and 683KM on the odo. First Servicing has been done in 499KM.
Now what i wanna know: Here in Mymensingh, Bangladesh only wd40 is available as chain lube. Now as Gladi has O ring chain, I can't find any of the chain sprays of lubes of motul.
One man told me to use grease on the chain.
Now i am in great dilemma. Please help me out.
EDIT: Can i use engine oil as the lube?Last edited by Sumondatta; 04-16-2011, 03:06 PM.Yamaha Gladiator SS - Owned and Sold.

Well you can use the SAE90 gear oil for lubricating the chain. I use the same & it Works fine for my bike. Even the manual recommends the same.Originally posted by Sumondatta View PostBrothers, I am from Bangladesh and I do own a Gladiator.
