Well, 25k to 30k is usual norm for open chain, wearing out of sproket before that limit is not rare... it all depends on riding conditions, weather and care taken.
I had to replace sproket of my SS125 at 14k km.. It was wobbling a bit and teeth were worn out... it could have been used for a few thousand kms more, but i got it replaced since i drive on longer trails and couldnot afford a breakdown in the middle of road with no garage in the visinity...

It got worn out because i had been driving in rough muddy or dusty roads all the time...

However in your case of you are taking good care of it and if on inspection you dont find any wear n tear of teeth, and if you don't feel any abnormal noise from it, you can still use it for another 5k to 10k kms...

Just be careful.. because if it is worn out, it can give you nightmare in the middle of a long ride....

    Happy riding...

Do one thing take the chain out of the sprocket and thoroughly clean front and rear sprocket with kerosene or petrol, clean the chain properly lube it, reinstall it and tighten it optimally, and i think this current set will serve you for another 10,000kms or so.
    Thanks for your inputs!

No, there are no such things. Yes, one or two teeths seem to have got worn out. What should be the ideal interval for replacing the chain sprockets BTW?

But, on the last two servicings, I was told by the SVC mechanics that the change sprocket needs to be changed. I sought opinions from friends who own Gladiators. As per them, 16K is too early to change the sprockets. BTW I had made it it a point to clean+lube the chain on each servicing, I myself lube the chains twice a month. Thing is I trust my friends and at the same time can't ignore the viewpoint of the SVC(Factory Outlet, Kestopur, Kolkata) mechanics who are very helpful and has never made me get burdened with unnecessary charges/changes.
Please help me with a solution as I am in a dilemma.

Are you facing any sound from chain if the teeths or chain has past there life chain will make a grinding kind of noise, plus visually inspect both the front and rear sproket teeth, if the sides of the teeths are worn they wont mesh with the chain properly and hence chain will have horizontal slack, SS125 has an open chain or oring -- chain and every open chain get past there life very quickly, one of my friend has reverted to close chain on his SS125 because of this frequent chain eating although he has to get chain cover holding mount welded on the swing arm on his bike.

Yes, you can surely change the lights but the stock battery is not powerful enough to contain say LED/Projector lights. You need to initiate a full DC conversion and replacement of the stock battery to a more powerful one first.
Check out with a good bike mechanic with considerable electrical knowledge in your locality.
