  • Fazer owners ,

Yesterday I got my insurance papers. Took a close look at today and saw that the bike model mentioned is FZ 16. I know its my mistake, should've checked it there itself. Is it the same with you guys?
Will check with them tomorrow? But just wanna know what's with others.

    Mine is FAZER only..

The bike was misfiring at low RPMs that problem is sorted now maybe the air/fuel mixture was a bit leaned and now they ve tuned it. This could ve improved it's pickup. Also fitted Baby beast with the Gladiator's horn. I am happy with the horn now its more bassy and gets reactions on the road unlike the shrill stock horn on the FZS. Well thats it for now!!
      Hi,

Can you please quote the price of the Gladiator's horns? N also the change in circuit of the FZ for this installation.

I'm experiencing some problem with the side view mirrors. They are not properly extended for rear view. And with my DSG jacket on, I can't see a thing while driving and as such have to incline a bit to right side in order to see the oncoming traffic from behind.
Can anyone help me in this regard as to how can I set the mirrors properly?

It cost me Rs 160 it is a single. The mechanic at Orion asked me if I wanted to make it a double but i prfered to have it single and not strain me battery. And no change in circuitry as it was a single horn. It was pretty much a plug and bajaoo setup. Sorry for the delayed reply i dont log on to the internet on weekends and saw this just now.

Yes, i got the mirrors from a TVS service center, but you can also get them from un-authorised garage/service shop.

i had a talk with service manager of bangalore motors,he says no other bike rear sprocket will the fit on fz,
and abt the horns he said it will take 500 rs for dual horn plus labour & some custom work.i am now think of using the kinetic honda horn (loudest single one)
will find out more soon, gladiators horn is also not that loud is it

Well there has been a little bit of a improvement in volume but the Galdiator's horn is more bassy and it makes people on the road react better than the stock horns.

                        • Hi guys, im new here (2days old). I own an FZ16 here in Manila, Philippines. its imported from your country. there where a few units imported around 10units only.

would you believe the price of the unit in Manila is almost three times the price in India? but what the heck. this one really is my dream bike. so i have to dig deep in my pocket.

i read all the posts starting from page 1 to 200+ just to know more about the FZ16.

i guess my experience is the same as yours. the moment i got mine a week ago i removed the saree (we dont use it here) also replaced the horn.

Would some of you guys point me to an online accessory and spareparts (oil filters, for tune ups) shop where i can purchase some stuff like consumables and accessories?

                          Thanks in advance.

I dont think there is a legit "Online" spares supplier in India (I may be wrong though) but I can hook you up with someone who can send you all the stuff you need. What all do you need?

Horns are meant to warn people, not scare them.... sorry to say but I find it pretty girlish of people plonking in jazzy horns Actually 'poser' is the word but then that would be too rude !
