Barely a week after giving her for a service..
After a few kms of riding, when i slow down and the engine speed drops below 3k on the tach, my bike stalls and shuts off if i don't engage the choke
Clutch feels absurdly sluggish. The shift is notchy and my bike for the first time in her 3 year old/ 17.5k km life is missing gears..
As for the stalling. My mech has checked the electricals, swindled me for a petrol tank cleaning stating water in the tank and a carb clean as well..
Hence..
6 visits to the Honda svc centre have forced me to consider a clutch overhaul as the solution to this problem..
If anyone could help me as to what has actually gone wrong, i would really appreciate it..

Point 2 :Clutch feels absurdly sluggish - This should be related to clutch as well as the clutch cable too. Changing the clutch cable and doing a slight overall might help
Point 3 :bike for the first time in her 3 year old/ 17.5k km life is missing gears -- Could be related to clutch again but not entirely . See if you have been shifting gears extensively and bit rough , there is a possibility of the gear shift mechanism have warned out a bit . Even this can be fixed with an overall .
All these points are basically my own view and experience with my past 2 bikes. Not to offend you in any way .I might be wrong . You can check the same with your mech .

My Uni's done 17.5k on the odo now.. Im lookin to get the clutch and the pressure plates changed.. Im having lots of trouble with the clutch..
