That's just my personal opinion. As I have tested Motul 300V on my Uni and found the gearshift missing along with some harsness and false neutral. As per Honda Manual and the service centre, they also don't recomend such oils. As I have asked them about the engine oils also. About your comment, just don't use such languages in a Good Healthy Forum like "Xbhp". I think I know much better language than your's to reply you.Originally posted by psycho 98Provide some facts to prove your statement, guyz who are using semisynthetic and synthetic oils are not dumb a$$es.
One more thing to ask you, I don't even know you, so how can I determine that you're not a "dumb a$$" ????Last edited by koushik_man; 11-19-2008, 03:27 PM.

Alright.
Whoever is under the impression that all's fair until the mods step in better check their ego out of the door NOW. There are etiquettes to be followed and common sense should tell you that they are applicable even when the mods are not around. You wanna discuss something? Do so with a casual air. The next person who exhibits a condescending air will get a one way ticket to infractistan, expiring in two weeks, courtesy yours truly.

He people we are discussing our bike problems here and not each others language and grammar.Friends we do express our frustation at times which is caused by our bikes, but mind you its personal and we get some satisfaction when we share the pain .That's what we do in xbhp . so please there is no place for ego here .lets get back to track and be good friends and share each others happiness and sorrow .
Hope all here are grown up here to understand each other.even if you find some thing not right , try and point it out in a good way . Always try to be an example for others & be free to learn from others .That's when one really grows . That's what i have learned in my 32 years of life . Hope this helps .
My bike ( the millage problem - i am really getting bugged ) the major issue is no time to take her to a mechanic or the service center .Hoping to do that by tomorrow will update you all once i do so and check the millage.sigpic

One of my friend who sat pillion on a 200km ride is not happy with the rear suspension. Whereas on the return journey, he was very happy on P180. Can the unicorn owners tell their take on the mono shock absorber? My bike decision depends on pillion comfort as well.

In morning start the engine by kick, engage the kick properly in a way that it will travel full from top till bottom. Pull throtle to keep engine running at 2000 rpm for atleast 15-20 seconds. Thats it, engine is ready to rock.Originally posted by puneetsingh View Postaccording to your request i have added the logo pic in the earlier photos....

First of all, thanks for the pics. My bad, that I have missed your previously posted pics. Now about your query (It's purely as per my experience) -Originally posted by puneetsingh View Postaccording to your request i have added the logo pic in the earlier photos....

First of all give choke for 15-20 secs, and kick start the bike (do not close the choke), and don't use self start (else, it will just hamper the carbon of your self start and it's longivity). Give few throttle and now close the choke. Again give few throttle, say for 20-30 secs more (but try not to exceed more than 4K rpm). It will now heat up the engine, and the bike will become idle. If still the problem persist. Then you have to tune your bike properly. Tune your bike when the engine is cold (if it's necessary).
Caution: Do not drive your bike with the open choke. Don't forget to close it.
Have a happy and safe riding buddy

Hi bro
There are settings on the Mono shock , check if it was set to hard . Even otherwise the pillion will feel more jerk than the rider as the tail part is raised high and it dose absorb the jerks . The Mono shock is placed right in the middle to get perfect balance and comfort while braking & stability . It gives more smoothness to the ride . Apart from puls which has a gas suspension at the back which is more effective for a pillion but less effective for a rider ( my opinion) . Both have their + & -
I have drove almost all the bikes for long km but Uni gives the best comfort i should say . If you are thinking about the pillion rider , it's a good attitude for sure .But think for how long a pillion will be with you , after all its you who is going to use it mostly . Take call accordingly . All the best

Rightly said bro. I have also taken journeys for 150+ Kms (with 2-3 breaks ofcourse) with my wife as a pillion, and she never complained about the pillon comfort. Rather she used to say it's a far better ride than my previous pulsar (pulsar 150 Dtsi - 1st gen, with spoke wheel). It's just about the adjustment of the mono-shock.Originally posted by pradeep30 View PostHi bro

Hi all wing riders
In the previous logs i was mentioning about my Uni millage drop issue .
.
I have took my first step towards the same . I some how kicked my self some time and went out to the service center . Had it tuned up . Had her take a wash and lubrication . They where willing to check with a 100 ml funnel . I asked them not to as i wanted to check it real time with my sought of riding .That way i can correct my riding style too if i am wrong ( cant change though .. Lol ) Will update you all in a day or so .
Wish me luck ( he he .. I am asking for it as i have shelled a good part of my saving on her )
