This is (and hopefully the last) small bike i ride. putting this up for sale.

secondly ...Do those iridium spark plus help??
Iridium spark plugs even added with Spitfire cable wont give considerable increase in milleage. The performance or power output or misfiring issues will only be solved by that changes.
Clean your air filter & carburetor and then ride the bike between 75-85km per hour. Then you might get atleast 50kmpl in highways if you don't rip throttle insanely/abruptly.
And AFAIK no bike will give good millege when ridden in 90-100 even though you run in NH and dont do gear shiftings every now & then.

    • Rear Disk Break on CB Unicorn

      Hi Guys,

I wish to install a rear disk break like the one on CB Unicorn Dazzler. My CB Unicorn has completed 7000 Kilometers. Kindly let me know if its possible to do without major structural changes.

      Many Thanks.

you can use the hunk's rear disk setup, you will have to change the alloy also, would be an expensive modification..

          • Hello Friends!
I've booked a Unicorn in December which is now ready for the delivery in couple of weeks. However, I am more inclined towards P200NS.

So now the dilemma is whether I should take the deliver of Unicorn or wait for the launch of P200NS. Very disappointed with the Bajaj's inability to launch it within the time frame. Now they are saying it will come by April end. Earlier it was March end. Who knows what happens when April also ends.

I've been waiting since last 4 months. Can wait another 20-25 days. Your suggestions are appreciated.. Thanks.

Follow your heart atleast when you spent so much of money on buying bike. If P200NS is in your mind wait for it. By the way Unicorn is always a good bike & the reputation for Honda engines is irreplaceable. My love was towards RTR-160cc and I waited nearly 6 months for revised version (RTR-HE) to launch & its worth the wait. Also I heard Apache 200cc will be launched this year & that too it will be FI. Anyway the final choice is yours.

              • Additional sound from Engine

                Completed 20500 + kms

For past 2000 kms, hearing a sound from engine which is almost like a cycle bell. It came only when driving for a longer period of time at speeds above 60. Now it started coming at even 45's driving for only a few kms.

My mechanic told that the Head O Ring is Bent and needs to be replaced (80 Rs).

To accomplish this, the Engine Head needs to be opened. Have anyone come across this issue.

Sorry to interfere in this thread, i own a GS 150 r , 40 KPL is obiviously expensive FE in todays scenerio , but thats a fact , when you ride at 100 KPH which brings to extremes of its capacity , you cannot compare 500 cc's with 150 cc for those performances.
some body had recommended 50 kph , but shouldn't one go for 100 cc's for those speed limits and get some 70 KPL ..
Even suzuki gives 52 KPL at constant 90-100 kph( not crossed 102kph still due to road constrainst) and shoots to 55-58 KPL between 60- 80 kph, lesser difference is understandable due to 6 th gear, uni has 5 gears so more difference in FE at different speed conditions .

didnt reply cos i thought it might be the tappet noise, but since your mech has found the issue to be something else, go ahead and fix it, and do update us

                        • tyre for uni

Which would be the best tyre for the unicorn, everyone suggests sirac street, but it just lasts 15k kms, i need a tyre with good pattern and grip within 1500rs per tyre

Use the default tires recommended by Honda. It lasts for more than 27,000 Kms.

Front: MRF Zapper FV or MRF Zapper FS
Rear: MRF Zapper Y (100/90-18) Also Check Zapper Q

The second option which Honda suggests is Dunlop Geo Cruiser.

What I would suggest is Zapper FS for front and Zapper Y for rear. My tires almost looks new after 21000 + kms without any puncture

                              Hey Fayad

I am not going to fix this issue now. Not happy with opening the Engine Head at 22000 kms. Mileage i get is constant 55. So planning to wait for another 4000 kms and then open the engine head.

Do you have any idea if Dazzler is having the same ride position like Unicorn. ? Is anyone owning both these masterpiece and could provide a good comparison regarding the comfort

sirac street is good..go for it..stock tyres dont offer any grip..sirac street should last ~20k kms..price is around 1800 i hope..

dont own both, but the dazzler also got a similar upright riding postion, comfort levels are almost same..due to lower weight it might be easy to maneuver in traffic..
